1. A car side video assist system activated by light signals comprising:

  • at least two car side cameras, an activation signal source, a video signal source switch processor and a display device;

    whereinthe car side cameras includes at least one left side camera disposed on the left side of a car and at least one right side camera arranged at the right side of the car, respectively used for capturing image on the left side and the right side of the car correspondingly to form image signal sources that are output to the video signal source switch processor;

    the activation signal source having reverse signals, left turn signals, right turn signals and warning signals;

    once the reverse signal, the left turn signal, the right turn signal or the warning signal is activated, a light signal of the activation signal source is formed;

    then the activation signal source outputs the light signal to the video signal source switch processor by a connecting wire;

    the video signal source switch processor generates a camera power activation signal according to the light signal from the activation signal source so that the system is automatically switched to select and activate at least one of the car side cameras for capturing at least one image the corresponding car side;

    the image captured at the corresponding car side is output to form at least one car side picture on the screen of the display device;

    the video signal source switch processor further includes a light signal interpretation processor used for interpreting whether the light signal is formed by the reverse signal, the left turn signal, the right turn signal or the warning signal;

    wherein when a light signal is activated and input into the video signal source switch processor, the light signal interpretation processor starts interpretation after a preset critical time, continues for a preset interpretation time, and then outputs an interpretation result so as to select and activate the corresponding camera.
