pressing the metal plate member to form the protrusion including (i) a tubular portion provided at a tip end of the protrusion in an extending direction that intersects with the surface and (ii) a base portion that is solid or tubular and extends from the surface of the metal component to the tubular portion in the extending direction, the base portion, when tubular, having a wall thickness greater than a wall thickness of the tubular portion.
