1. A method for managing pharmacy workflow, the method comprising:
- receiving, from at least one healthcare device, at least one information item pertaining to progress of delivery of a first medication of a first order, wherein additional medication is required for the first order when the delivery is complete;
receiving a second order for a second medication from a healthcare system, the second medication being different than the first medication; and
scheduling a first preparation of the additional medication for the first order and a second preparation of the second medication of the second order such that the additional medication is prepared and available upon completion of the delivery of the first medication, wherein the scheduling is based at least in part on the at least one information item.

The memory may include instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to receive, from at least one healthcare device, at least one information item pertaining to progress of delivery of a first medication of a first order, where additional medication is required for the first order when the delivery is complete, receive a second order for a second medication from a healthcare system, the second medication being different than the first medication, and schedule a first preparation of the additional medication for the first order and a second preparation of the second medication of the second order such that the additional medication is prepared and available upon completion of the delivery of the first medication, where the scheduling is based at least in part on the at least one information item.
