Abstract

A wireless IC tag, to which data can be written by using an IC tag introducing machine, said wireless IC tag can ensure the communication distance required for writing and reading data in the wireless IC tag formed in a dimension that does not intensively affect the strength of the material for building a construction and is provided with antennas with performance of excellent directionality, is provided.

The wireless IC tag 1 according to the present invention is characterized in that an RFID tag module 4 is mounted on the columnar ferrite core 2 and a primary antenna 31 having been connected with the RFID tag module and a pair of secondary antennas 32, 33 are wound around the circumferential surface of the plate shapedferrite core 2.

Claims

1. A wireless IC tag comprising a plate-shaped ferrite core to which an RFID tag module is mounted and antennas having been connected with said RFID tag module, respectively, those which are fixed on the surface of said plate-shaped ferrite core.

A wireless IC tag according to claim 1 wherein the antennas to be fixed on the surface of the ferrite core include a primary antenna to be wound around a substantially middle position on the circumferential surface of the plate-shaped ferrite core and a pair of secondary antennas to be wound separately around both lateral positions of the primary antenna.

A wireless IC tag according to claim 1, wherein the antennas to be fixed on the surface of the ferrite core include a first primary antenna and a pair of first secondary antennas, those which are wound in a direction on the circumferential surface of the plate-shaped ferrite core, and a second primary antenna and a pair of second secondary antennas, those which are wound in the other direction perpendicular to the direction mentioned above on the circumferential surface of the plate-shaped ferrite core.

4. A wireless IC tag according to claim 1, wherein the antennas to be fixed on the surface of the ferrite core are provided to both of the upside and underside of said plate-shaped ferrite core.

5. A wireless IC tag according to claim 4, wherein the antennas to be arranged to the upside and underside of the ferrite core are provided in a spiral pattern along the plate-shape of the ferrite core.

6. A wireless IC tag according to claim 1, wherein the antennas to be provided to the ferrite core are formed by printing technique.

7. A wireless IC tag according to claim 1 characterized in that the wireless IC tag is produced by molding the wireless IC tag, which is consisted of a plate-shaped ferrite core to which an RFID tag module is mounted and antennas, with a protective enclosure.

8. A wireless IC tag according to claim 7, wherein the protective enclosure is a columnar outer shell body.

9. A wireless IC tag according to claim 8, wherein circumferential protrusions are formed on the peripheries of both end portions of the columnar outer shell body functioning as the protective enclosure.

10. A wireless IC tag according to claim 7, wherein a plurality of concave grooves are formed in the surface of the protective enclosure.

11. A wireless IC tag according to claim 10, wherein a plurality of concave grooves extending in the axial direction of the outer shell body are formed in the body section of the columnar outer shell body functioning as the protective enclosure.

A wireless IC tag according to claim 2, wherein the antennas to be fixed on the surface of the ferrite core include a first primary antenna and a pair of first secondary antennas, those which are wound in a direction on the circumferential surface of the plate-shaped ferrite core, and a second primary antenna and a pair of second secondary antennas, those which are wound in the other direction perpendicular to the direction mentioned above on the circumferential surface of the plate-shaped ferrite core.

13. A wireless IC tag according to claim 2, wherein the antennas to be provided to the ferrite core are formed by printing technique.

14. A wireless IC tag according to claim 3, wherein the antennas to be provided to the ferrite core are formed by printing technique.

15. A wireless IC tag according to claim 4, wherein the antennas to be provided to the ferrite core are formed by printing technique.

16. A wireless IC tag according to claim 5, wherein the antennas to be provided to the ferrite core are formed by printing technique.

17. A wireless IC tag according to claim 12, wherein the antennas to be provided to the ferrite core are formed by printing technique.

18. A wireless IC tag according to claim 2 characterized in that the wireless IC tag is produced by molding the wireless IC tag, which is consisted of a plate-shaped ferrite core to which an RFID tag module is mounted and antennas, with a protective enclosure.

19. A wireless IC tag according to claim 3 characterized in that the wireless IC tag is produced by molding the wireless IC tag, which is consisted of a plate-shaped ferrite core to which an RFID tag module is mounted and antennas, with a protective enclosure.

20. A wireless IC tag according to claim 4 characterized in that the wireless IC tag is produced by molding the wireless IC tag, which is consisted of a plate-shaped ferrite core to which an RFID tag module is mounted and antennas, with a protective enclosure.
