Systems and Methods for Communicating with a Vehicle User
First Claim
1. A method for communicating with a vehicle user comprising:
- obtaining a user preference and authorization information relating to a mobile phone device and third party information, the mobile phone device being authorized by a vehicle computing device of a vehicle and identifying a particular user;
recognizing a vehicle access device carried by the particular user;
in response to recognizing the vehicle access device, providing access to the vehicle;
recognizing the particular user upon approach with the mobile phone device;
implementing the user preference for the particular user, the user preference comprising a setting for a functional aspect of the vehicle and a setting for a non-functional aspect of the vehicle, wherein the setting for the non-functional aspect includes user calendar integration to communicate user calendar events of a remotely stored user calendar to the vehicle, wherein implementing the user preference comprises determining an upcoming event on the user calendar is associated with an accessory; and
providing, by the vehicle computing device, customized interactive communication with the particular user, based on stored user preferences and third party information.
