Abstract

The present invention provides a light-emitting element inducing an electron-transporting layer and a hole-transporting layer between a first electrode and a second electrode; and a first layer and a second layer between the electron-transporting layer and the hole-transporting layer, wherein the first layer includes a first organic compound and an organic compound having a hole-transporting property, the second layer includes a second organic compound and an organic compound having an electron-transporting property, the first layer is formed in contact with the first electrode side of the second layer, the first organic compound and the second organic compound are the same compound, and a voltage is applied to the first electrode and the second electrode, so that both of the first organic compound and the second organic compound emit light.

11. A light-emitting device comprising:

a light-emitting layer comprising a light-emitting material,

wherein the light-emitting layer comprises a first layer and a second layer over the first layer,

wherein the first layer comprises a first organic material and is capable of transporting hole, and

wherein the second layer comprises a second organic material and is capable of transporting electron.

12. The light-emitting device according to claim 11, wherein the first organic material is a material different from the second organic material.

13. The light-emitting device according to claim 11, wherein the first layer and the second layer are in contact with each other.

14. An illumination device comprising the light-emitting device according to claim 11.

15. A display device comprising the light-emitting device according to claim 11, comprising:

a first electrode; and

a second electrode over the first electrode; and

a transistor electrically connected to the first electrode,

wherein the light-emitting layer is provided between the first electrode and the second electrode.

16. A light-emitting device comprising:

a first light-emitting layer comprising a first light-emitting material;

a second light-emitting layer over the first light-emitting layer,

wherein the first light-emitting layer comprising a first layer and a second layer over the first layer,

wherein the first layer comprises a first organic material and is capable of transporting hole, and

wherein the second layer comprises a second organic material and is capable of transporting electron.

17. The light-emitting device according to claim 16, wherein the first organic material is a material different from the second organic material.

18. The light-emitting device according to claim 16, wherein the first layer and the second layer are in contact with each other.

19. An illumination device comprising the light-emitting device according to claim 16.

20. A display device comprising the light-emitting device according to claim 16, comprising:

a first electrode; and

a second electrode over the first electrode; and

a transistor electrically connected to the first electrode,

wherein the first light-emitting layer and the second light-emitting layer are provided between the first electrode and the second electrode.

21. A light-emitting device comprising:

a first light-emitting layer comprising a first light-emitting material;

a layer over the first light-emitting layer, the layer comprising metal element and oxygen,

a second light-emitting layer over the layer,

wherein the first light-emitting layer comprising a first layer and a second layer over the first layer,

wherein the first layer comprises a first organic material and is capable of transporting hole, and

wherein the second layer comprises a second organic material and is capable of transporting electron.

22. The light-emitting device according to claim 21, wherein the layer is a charge generation layer.

23. The light-emitting device according to claim 21, wherein the first organic material is a material different from the second organic material.

24. The light-emitting device according to claim 21, wherein the first layer and the second layer are in contact with each other.

25. An illumination device comprising the light-emitting device according to claim 21.

26. A display device comprising the light-emitting device according to claim 21, comprising:

a first electrode; and

a second electrode over the first electrode; and

a transistor electrically connected to the first electrode,

wherein the first light-emitting layer and the second light-emitting layer are provided between the first electrode and the second electrode.
