1. A display device for displaying stereoscopic images, the device comprising:
- narrowband emitting emission elements adapted for image generation; and
a plurality of different emission elements, at least one of which contains a light-converting material excited by an excitation element for emitting optical radiation, the plurality of different emission elements being configured to generate spectrally narrowband optical radiation in different spectral ranges, wherein partial stereoscopic images are generated in spectral ranges at least partially different from one another.
