Abstract

A power receiving device and a power feeding system which are capable of performing communication and power feeding at the same time are provided. Further, a power receiving device and a power feeding system which are capable of stably performing communication during power feeding are provided. One embodiment of the present invention relates to a power receiving device which includes an antenna for communication and power feeding that receives AC power, a rectifier circuit that rectifies the received AC power including the modulation signal into DC power, a smoothing circuit that smoothes the resulting DC power, a power storage device that stores the smoothed DC power, a communication control unit that analyzes the modulation signal included in the AC power, and a transformer that is positioned between the antenna and the rectifier circuit and changes a reference potential of the AC power, and a power feeding device.

Claims

1. A power receiving device comprising:

an antenna configured to receive AC power and a modulation signal;

a first circuit configured to rectify the AC power into DC power;

a second circuit configured to smooth the DC power;

a power storage device configured to store the DC power;

a control unit to which the modulation signal is input; and

a transformer between the antenna and the first circuit,

wherein the control unit analyzes the modulation signal included in the AC power and is driven using a potential of the DC power and a ground potential, and

wherein the transformer is configured to change a reference potential of the AC power input to the control unit.

2. The power receiving device according to claim 1,

wherein the control unit includes:

a third circuit configured to analyze the modulation signal;

a interface portion configured to convert the modulation signal into a signal which can be analyzed by the third circuit; and

a voltage generator configured to generate a reference potential of the third circuit and a reference potential of the interface portion, from the potential of the DC power and the ground potential.

3. The power receiving device according to claim 1,

wherein the first circuit includes:

a first diode;

a second diode;

a third diode; and

a fourth diode,

wherein one terminal of the first diode is electrically connected to one terminal of the second diode,

wherein the other terminal of the second diode is electrically connected to one terminal of the third diode,

wherein the other terminal of the third diode is electrically connected to one terminal of the fourth diode, and

wherein the other terminal of the fourth diode is electrically connected to the other terminal of the first diode.

4. The power receiving device according to claim 1,

wherein the antenna includes:

a first coil;

a second coil; and

a capacitor,

wherein one terminal of the first coil is electrically connected to one terminal of the capacitor, and

wherein the other terminal of the first coil is electrically connected to the other terminal of the capacitor.

5. The power receiving device according to claim 1,

wherein one terminal of the antenna is electrically connected to a first terminal of the transformer,

wherein the other terminal of the antenna is electrically connected to a second terminal of the transformer,

wherein a first terminal of the first circuit is electrically connected to a third terminal of the transformer, and

wherein a second terminal of the first circuit is electrically connected to a fourth terminal of the transformer.

6. An electronic appliance comprising the power receiving device according to claim 1.

7. A power feeding system comprising:

a power transmitting device including;

a first circuit configured to generate a modulation signal;

a second circuit configured to convert the modulation signal into a signal which can be wirelessly communicated; and

a first antenna configured to send AC power and the modulation signal; and

a power receiving device including;

a second antenna configured to receive the AC power and the modulation signal;

a third circuit configured to rectify the AC power into DC power;

a fourth circuit configured to smooth the DC power;

a power storage device configured to store the DC power;

a control unit to which the modulation signal is input; and

a transformer between the second antenna and the third circuit,

wherein the control unit analyzes the modulation signal included in the AC power and is driven using a potential of the DC power and a ground potential, and

wherein the transformer is configured to change a reference potential of part of the AC power input to the control unit.

8. The power feeding system according to claim 7,

wherein the control unit includes:

a fifth circuit configured to analyze the modulation signal;

an interface portion configured to convert the modulation signal into a signal which can be analyzed by the fifth circuit; and

a voltage generator configured to generate a reference potential of the fifth circuit and a reference potential of the interface portion, from the potential of the DC power and the ground potential.

9. The power feeding system according to claim 7,

the third circuit includes:

a first diode;

a second diode;

a third diode; and

a fourth diode,

wherein one terminal of the first diode is electrically connected to one terminal of the second diode,

wherein the other terminal of the second diode is electrically connected to one terminal of the third diode,

wherein the other terminal of the third diode is electrically connected to one terminal of the fourth diode, and

wherein the other terminal of the fourth diode is electrically connected to the other terminal of the first diode.

10. The power feeding system according to claim 7,

the second antenna includes:

a first coil;

a second coil; and

a capacitor;

wherein one terminal of the first coil is electrically connected to one terminal of the capacitor, and

wherein the other terminal of the first coil is electrically connected to the other terminal of the capacitor.

11. The power feeding system according to claim 7,

wherein one terminal of the second antenna is electrically connected to a first terminal of the transformer,

wherein the other terminal of the second antenna is electrically connected to a second terminal of the transformer,

wherein a first terminal of the first circuit is electrically connected to a third terminal of the transformer, and

wherein a second terminal of the first circuit is electrically connected to a fourth terminal of the transformer.

12. The power feeding system according to claim 7,

wherein the power transmitting device further including:

a sixth circuit; and

a coupler,

wherein a first terminal of the third circuit is electrically connected to a first terminal of the fourth circuit,

wherein a second terminal of the third circuit is electrically connected to a first terminal of the sixth circuit,

wherein a second terminal of the fourth circuit is electrically connected to a first terminal of the coupler,

wherein a second terminal of the sixth circuit is electrically connected to a second terminal of the coupler, and

wherein a terminal of the second antenna is electrically connected to a third terminal of the coupler.

13. An electronic appliance comprising the power receiving device according to claim 7.

14. A power receiving device comprising:

an antenna including;

a first coil;

a second coil; and

a capacitor;

a first circuit;

a power storage device;

a control unit; and

a transformer,

wherein one terminal of the first coil is electrically connected to one terminal of the capacitor,

wherein the other terminal of the first coil is electrically connected to the other terminal of the capacitor,

wherein one terminal of the second coil is electrically connected to a first terminal of the control unit and a first terminal of the transformer,

wherein the other terminal of the second coil is electrically connected to a second terminal of the control unit and a second terminal of the transformer,

wherein a center point of the second coil is electrically connected to a third terminal of the control unit,

wherein a third terminal of the transformer is electrically connected to a first terminal of the first circuit,

wherein a fourth terminal of the transformer is electrically connected to a second terminal of the first circuit,

wherein one terminal of the power storage device is electrically connected to a third terminal of the first circuit and a fourth terminal of the control unit, and

wherein a fourth terminal of the first circuit, the other terminal of the power storage device, and a fifth terminal of the control unit are each grounded.

15. The power receiving device according to claim 14, further comprising:

a second circuit,

wherein one terminal of the second circuit is electrically connected to the third terminal of the first circuit, the one terminal of the power storage device, and the fourth terminal of the control unit, and

wherein the other of the second circuit is grounded.

16. The power receiving device according to claim 14,

wherein the control unit includes:

a third circuit;

an interface portion; and

a voltage generator,

wherein a first terminal of the interface portion is electrically connected to the first terminal of the control unit,

wherein a second terminal of the interface portion is electrically connected to the second terminal of the control unit,

wherein a third terminal of the interface portion is electrically connected to the third terminal of the control unit,

wherein a fourth terminal of the interface portion is electrically connected to a first terminal of the third circuit,

wherein a fifth terminal of the interface portion is electrically connected to a first terminal of the voltage generator,

wherein a second terminal of second circuit is electrically connected to a second terminal of the voltage generator, and

wherein a third terminal of the voltage generator is electrically connected to the fourth terminal of the control unit.

17. The power receiving device according to claim 14,

wherein the first circuit includes:

a first diode;

a second diode;

a third diode; and

a fourth diode,

wherein one terminal of the first diode is electrically connected to one terminal of the second diode,

wherein the other terminal of the second diode is electrically connected to one terminal of the third diode,

wherein the other terminal of the third diode is electrically connected to one terminal of the fourth diode, and

wherein the other terminal of the fourth diode is electrically connected to the other terminal of the first diode.

18. An electronic appliance comprising the power receiving device according to claim 14.
