Abstract
The present invention provides devices and systems for use at the point of care. The methods devices of the invention are directed toward automatic detection of analytes in a bodily fluid. The components of the device are modular to allow for flexibility and robustness of use with the disclosed methods for a variety of medical applications.

79. A system for detection of a first analyte of a first analyte type and a second analyte of a second analyte type in a biological sample, comprising:
-
i) a fluidic device comprising a plurality of assay units configured to run chemical reactions on portions of said biological sample, wherein said chemical reactions are configured to yield detectable signals indicative of the presence or absence of said first analyte and said second analyte in the biological sample; ii) a pipette assembly configured to transport aliquots of fluid and to transport assay units, said pipette assembly comprising pipette heads configured to engage said assay units; and iii) a detection assembly for detecting said signals indicative of the presence or absence of said first and second analytes in the biological sample, wherein said detection assembly is configured to detect signals indicative of at least two types of analytes. - View Dependent Claims (80, 81, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, 89, 90, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 98, 99, 100, 101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108)
