Abstract

An apparatus and method for collecting power from distributed power supply resources are provided. The method includes transmitting a signal for inquiring whether supply of demand-side power supply resources is possible to a providing side that provides demand-side power supply resources, selecting demand-side power supply resources to be utilized, based on power supply resource-related information for each of available demand-side power supply resources, which is received from the providing side, and notifying the selection results to the selected demand-side power supply resources.

Claims

1. A method for collecting power from distributed power supply resources, the method comprising:

transmitting a signal for inquiring whether supply of demand-side power supply resources is possible to a providing side that provides demand-side power supply resources;

selecting demand-side power supply resources to be utilized, based on power supply resource-related information for each of available demand-side power supply resources, which is received from the providing side; and

notifying the selection results to the selected demand-side power supply resources.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the signal for inquiring whether supply of demand-side power supply resources is possible includes parameters for at least one of a start time, an end time, an incentive, and a demand level.

The method of claim 1, wherein the power supply resource-related information includes parameters for at least one of a start time, an end time, and supply power, each of which can be individually determined to be different for each of demand-side power supply resources that can be provided by the providing side.

The method of claim 1, wherein the selecting of the demand-side power supply resources comprises selecting demand-side power supply resources satisfying any one of a condition that supply power has a maximum value, a condition that a supply time is longest, and a condition that an internally determined reliability priority is highest.

The method of claim 1, wherein, in a case where a required amount of first demand-side power supply resources or a time the first demand-side power supply resources needs to be provided is not matched to an amount of demand-side power supply resources that the providing side can provide or a supply time the demand-side power supply resources needs to be provided, the selecting of the demand-side power supply resources comprises selecting demand-side power supply resources if the mismatched resource amount or supply time satisfies a predetermined permitted range.

6. A method for providing power from distributed power supply resources, the method comprising:

upon receiving from a utilizing side a signal for inquiring whether supply of demand-side power supply resources is possible, transmitting, to the utilizing side, power supply resource-related information for each of available demand-side power supply resources; and

receiving, from the utilizing side, resulting information selected as demand-side power supply resources to be utilized.

7. The method of claim 6, wherein the signal for inquiring whether supply of demand-side power supply resources is possible includes parameters for at least one of a start time, an end time, an incentive, and a demand level.

The method of claim 6, wherein the resulting information includes information about demand-side power supply resources satisfying any one of a condition that supply power has a maximum value, a condition that a supply time is longest, and a condition that an internally determined reliability priority is highest.

9. The method of claim 6, further comprising performing a registration procedure for each device capable of providing demand-side power supply resources before the reception of the signal,

wherein the device includes at least one of a renewable energy resource, a power storage apparatus, and an electric car.

10. An apparatus for collecting power from distributed power supply resources, the apparatus comprising:

a transceiver for transmitting a signal for inquiring whether supply of demand-side power supply resources is possible to a providing side that provides demand-side power supply resources; and

a controller for selecting demand-side power supply resources to be utilized, based on power supply resource-related information for each of available demand-side power supply resources, which is received from the providing side, and for controlling the transceiver to notify the selection results to the selected demand-side power supply resources.

11. The apparatus of claim 10, wherein the signal for inquiring whether supply of demand-side power supply resources is possible includes parameters for at least one of a start time, an end time, an incentive, and a demand level.

The apparatus of claim 10, wherein the power supply resource-related information includes parameters for at least one of a start time, an end time, and supply power, each of which can be individually determined to be different for each of demand-side power supply resources that can be provided by the providing side.

13. The apparatus of claim 10, wherein the controller selects demand-side power supply resources satisfying any one of a condition that supply power has a maximum value, a condition that a supply time is longest, and a condition that an internally determined reliability priority is highest.

The apparatus of claim 10, wherein, in a case where a required amount of first demand-side power supply resources or a time the first demand-side power supply resources needs to be provided is not matched to an amount of demand-side power supply resources that the providing side can actually provide or a supply time the demand-side power supply resources needs to be provided, the controller selects demand-side power supply resources if the mismatched resource amount or supply time satisfies a predetermined permitted range.

15. An apparatus for providing power from distributed power supply resources, the apparatus comprising:

a transceiver for, upon receiving from a utilizing side a signal for inquiring whether supply of demand-side power supply resources is possible, transmitting, to the utilizing side, power supply resource-related information for each of available demand-side power supply resources, and for receiving, from the utilizing side, resulting information selected as demand-side power supply resources to be utilized.

16. The apparatus of claim 15, wherein the signal for inquiring whether supply of demand-side power supply resources is possible includes parameters for at least one of a start time, an end time, an incentive, and a demand level.

The apparatus of claim 15, wherein the resulting information includes information about demand-side power supply resources satisfying any one of a condition that supply power has a maximum value, a condition that a supply time is longest, and a condition that an internally determined reliability priority is highest.

18. The apparatus of claim 15, further comprising a database that manages demand-side power supply resources by performing a registration procedure for each device capable of providing demand-side power supply resources, before the reception of the signal,

wherein the device includes at least one of a renewable energy resource, a power storage apparatus, and an electric car.
