Abstract

An application executing method is provided. The application executing method is applied to a handheld electronic device having a body and a touch element. The touch element is disposed at the body. The application executing method comprises the following steps. Firstly, a communication mode is entered. Next, whether the touch element is moved is detected. If the touch element is moved, then an application is activated.

Claims

1. A handheld electronic device, comprising:

a body;

a touch element disposed at the body;

a detection unit detecting whether the touch element is moved; and

a processing unit coupled to the detection unit, wherein the processing unit activates a notepad application when the touch element is moved.

2. The handheld electronic device according to claim 1, wherein the touch element is a stylus.

3. The handheld electronic device according to claim 2, further comprising:

a slot, wherein the stylus is disposed at the body by way of being inserted into the slot.

4. The handheld electronic device according to claim 3, wherein the detection unit detects whether the stylus is moved according to whether the stylus is removed from the slot.

5. The handheld electronic device according to claim 4, further comprising:

a switch disposed at one side of the slot and electrically connected to the body;

wherein the stylus presses the switch when the stylus is inserted into the slot and releases the switch when the stylus is removed from the slot;

the processing unit activates the notepad application when the detection unit detects that the switch is released.

6. The handheld electronic device according to claim 1, wherein the detection unit repeatedly detects whether the touch element is moved.

7. The handheld electronic device according to claim 1, wherein after the detection unit detects that the touch element is moved, the detection unit further detects whether the touch element is moved to the initial position:

if the touch element is moved to the initial position, then the processing unit closes the notepad application.

8. The handheld electronic device according to claim 1, further comprising a touch screen being coupled to the processing unit and being configured to show an input interface of the notepad application for inputting a data.

9. The handheld electronic device according to claim 8, wherein the data is saved with regard to a call history of a call.

10. The handheld electronic device according to claim 1, wherein when the processing unit activates the notepad application, the processing unit further changes the operating mode of the handheld electronic device to a speakerphone mode.

11. The handheld electronic device according to claim 1, further comprising a communication module for providing a communication mode, the processing unit further activating the notepad application when the touch element is moved under the communication mode.

12. An application executing method applied to a handheld electronic device, wherein the handheld electronic device comprises a body and a touch element, the touch element is disposed at the body, the application executing method comprises:

a. determining whether the touch element is moved; and

b. activating a notepad application if the touch element is moved.

13. The application executing method according to claim 12, wherein the touch element is a stylus.

14. The application executing method according to claim 13, wherein the body comprises a slot, and the stylus is disposed at the body by way of being inserted into the slot, and the step a is a step of determining whether the stylus is moved is detected according to whether the stylus is removed from the slot.

15. The application executing method according to claim 12, wherein the step a is repeated if the touch element is not moved.

16. The application executing method according to claim 12, wherein after the step b, the method further comprises:

closing the notepad application when the touch element is moved to the initial position.

17. The application executing method according to claim 12, wherein the handheld electronic device comprises a touch screen, the notepad application comprises an input interface, the step b is a step of activating the notepad application if the touch element is moved and showing the input interface on the touch screen for inputting a data.

18. The application executing method according to claim 17, wherein in the step c, the data is saved with regard to a call history of a call.

19. The application executing method according to claim 12, wherein the step a is a step of determining whether the touch element is moved under a communication mode, the step b is a step of activating the notepad application if the touch element is moved under the communication mode.

20. A handheld electronic device, comprising:

a body;

a touch element disposed at the body;

a detection unit detecting whether the touch element is moved; and

a processing unit coupled to the detection unit, wherein when the touch element is moved, the processing unit activates a notepad application to show at least one note items.
