Abstract

Some demonstrative embodiments include devices, systems and/or methods of Bluetooth communication. For example, a Bluetooth communication unit may be capable of detecting a Bluetooth signal via a first antenna, and, upon detecting the Bluetooth signal, to switch to a second antenna, which is shared between the Bluetooth communication unit and an other, different, wireless communication unit, for establishing a Bluetooth communication link.

Claims

1. A device comprising:

a Bluetooth communication unit capable of detecting a Bluetooth signal via a first antenna, and, upon detecting said Bluetooth signal, to switch to a second antenna, which is shared between said Bluetooth communication unit and an other, different, wireless communication unit, for establishing a Bluetooth communication link.

2. The device of claim 1, wherein said Bluetooth communication unit is to detect said Bluetooth signal when said other wireless communication unit is communicating via said second antenna.

3. The device of claim 1, wherein said first antenna comprises a stub antenna.

4. The device of claim 1, wherein said other wireless communication unit performs multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) communication via a plurality of antennas including said second antenna.

5. The device of claim 1, wherein said Bluetooth signal comprises a Bluetooth advertisement signal.

6. The device of claim 5, wherein said Bluetooth advertisement signal comprises a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) advertisement signal.

7. The device of claim 1, wherein said other wireless communication unit comprises a Wireless-Fidelity (Wi-Fi) communication unit.

8. A system comprising:

a device including;

a first, Bluetooth, wireless communication unit;

a second, non-Bluetooth, wireless communication unit;

a first antenna;

a second antenna shared between said first and second wireless communication units,

wherein said first wireless communication unit is capable of detecting a Bluetooth signal via said first antenna, and, upon detecting said Bluetooth signal, to switch to said second antenna for establishing a Bluetooth communication link.

9. The system of claim 8, wherein said first wireless communication unit is to detect said Bluetooth signal when said second wireless communication unit is communicating via said second antenna.

10. The system of claim 8, wherein said first antenna comprises a stub antenna.

11. The system of claim 8, wherein said second wireless communication unit performs multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) communication via a plurality of antennas including said second antenna.

12. The system of claim 8, wherein said Bluetooth signal comprises a Bluetooth advertisement signal.

13. The system of claim 12, wherein said Bluetooth advertisement signal comprises a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) advertisement signal.

14. The system of claim 8, wherein said second wireless communication unit comprises a Wireless-Fidelity (Wi-Fi) communication unit.

15. A method comprising:

detecting a Bluetooth signal via a first antenna; and

upon detecting said Bluetooth signal, switching to a second antenna for establishing a Bluetooth communication link.

16. The method of claim 15, wherein detecting said Bluetooth signal comprises detecting said Bluetooth signal while a non-Bluetooth communication is performed via a second antenna.

17. The method of claim 16, wherein said non-Bluetooth communication comprises a multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) communication via a plurality of antennas including said second antenna.

18. The method of claim 15, wherein said first antenna comprises a stub antenna.

19. The method of claim 15, wherein said Bluetooth signal comprises a Bluetooth advertisement signal.

20. The method of claim 19, wherein said Bluetooth advertisement signal comprises a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) advertisement signal.
