Abstract
The invention relates to the field of fluid pumps and medical treatment devices, in particular dialysis machines. The object of the invention is to design methods and devices such that the operating pressures and flow rates of the fluid pumps assume the desired characteristics, in particular constant values or controlled profiles. This object is achieved in that the operating point of a peristaltic hose roller pump is adjusted based on the angle of rotation of the pump rotor or by adjusting the operating point of a centrifugal pump in accordance with a profile.

- 1. A device consisting of a peristaltic pump with a rotor and a control unit which controls the peristaltic pump, wherein the control unit is equipped to alter the operating point of the pump as a function of the angle formed by the rotor with any stationary point.

The device consisting of a centrifugal pump and a medication dosing device, which is driven by the centrifugal pump and a control unit, which controls the centrifugal pump such that the control unit is equipped to alter the operating point of the centrifugal pump according to a profile, which includes at least one change from a first operating point to a second operating point and a change from the second operating point to the first or a third operating point, wherein the second operating point is characterized at least by an operating parameter which is greater or less than this operating parameter of the first and third operating points.
- 10. A method comprising the method step of altering the operating point of a peristaltic pump as a function of the angle formed by the rotor of the peristaltic pump with any stationary point.

The method comprising the method step of altering the operating point of a centrifugal pump which drives a medication dosing device, wherein the change conforms to a profile which includes at least one change from a first operating point to a second operating point and a change from the second operating point to the first or a third operating point, wherein the second operating point is characterized at least by an operating parameter, which is greater or less than this operating parameter of the first and third operating points.
