Abstract

The invention relates to the field of fluid pumps and medical treatment devices, in particular dialysis machines. The object of the invention is to design methods and devices such that the operating pressures and flow rates of the fluid pumps assume the desired characteristics, in particular constant values or controlled profiles. This object is achieved in that the operating point of a peristaltic hose roller pump is adjusted based on the angle of rotation of the pump rotor or by adjusting the operating point of a centrifugal pump in accordance with a profile.

Claims

1. A device consisting of a peristaltic pump with a rotor and a control unit which controls the peristaltic pump, wherein the control unit is equipped to alter the operating point of the pump as a function of the angle formed by the rotor with any stationary point.

3. The device according to claim 1, wherein the control unit is equipped to vary the operating point of the peristaltic pump or the centrifugal pump in accordance with a calibration profile and to record at least one operating parameter and assign it to the respective operating point.

4. The device according to claim 1 having a medication dosing device, wherein the control unit is equipped to induce the dispensing of medication in a controlled manner by varying the operating point of the peristaltic pump or of the centrifugal pump.

5. The device according to claim 1 comprising at least one sensor for detecting at least one operating parameter of the peristaltic pump or of the centrifugal pump, wherein the device is equipped to transmit the at least one operating parameter to the control unit.

6. The device according to claim 5, wherein the control unit is equipped to adjust the amount of the change in the operating point of the peristaltic pump or the centrifugal pump as a function of the signal of the at least one sensor.

8. A medical machine having a device according to claim 1.

9. The medical machine according to claim 8, wherein the medical machine is a blood treatment machine and is equipped in particular for hemodialysis, for hemofiltration, for hemodiafiltration or for plasmapheresis.

The device consisting of a centrifugal pump and a medication dosing device, which is driven by the centrifugal pump and a control unit, which controls the centrifugal pump such that the control unit is equipped to alter the operating point of the centrifugal pump according to a profile, which includes at least one change from a first operating point to a second operating point and a change from the second operating point to the first or a third operating point, wherein the second operating point is characterized at least by an operating parameter which is greater or less than this operating parameter of the first and third operating points.

A device consisting of a peristaltic pump with a rotor and a control unit which controls the peristaltic pump, wherein the control unit is equipped to alter the operating point of the pump as a function of the angle formed by the rotor with any stationary point and/or at least one device according to claim 2.

10. A method comprising the method step of altering the operating point of a peristaltic pump as a function of the angle formed by the rotor of the peristaltic pump with any stationary point.

12. The method according to claim 10, wherein in a calibration phase the operating point of the peristaltic pump or of the centrifugal pump is varied in accordance with a calibration profile and at least one operating parameter is recorded and assigned to the respective operating point.

13. The method according to claim 10, wherein the dispensing of medication by a medication dosing device is caused in a controlled manner by the change in the operating point of the peristaltic pump or of the centrifugal pump.

14. The method according to claim 10, comprising at least the detection of at least one operating parameter of the peristaltic pump or the centrifugal pump, wherein the at least one operating parameter of the control unit is transmitted.

15. The method according to claim 14, wherein the control unit adjusts the amount of the change in the operating point of the peristaltic pump or of the centrifugal pump as a function of the signal of the at least one sensor.

16. The method according to claim 10, wherein the change in the operating point of the peristaltic pump or of the centrifugal pump takes place in a system of at least two pumps.

17. The medical machine, having a control unit, which performs a method according to claim 10.

18. The method according to claim 17, wherein the medical machine is a blood treatment machine and is equipped in particular for hemodialysis, for hemofiltration, for hemodiafiltration or for plasmapheresis

The method comprising the method step of altering the operating point of a centrifugal pump which drives a medication dosing device, wherein the change conforms to a profile which includes at least one change from a first operating point to a second operating point and a change from the second operating point to the first or a third operating point, wherein the second operating point is characterized at least by an operating parameter, which is greater or less than this operating parameter of the first and third operating points.
