1. A wireless communication system capable of wireless communication between a mobile station and a bass station by using multiple frequency bands at the same time, whereinthe mobile station includes:
- an uplink transmitting unit that transmits allowable power difference between frequency bands and mode information indicating an object of power limitation in transmission power control of the mobile station to the base station; and
a transmission-power control unit that controls transmission power on the basis of a transmission power control command received from the base station, andthe base station includes;
a generating unit that generates a transmission power control command on the basis of the allowable power difference between frequency bands and the mode information; and
a downlink transmitting unit that transmits the transmission power control command to the mobile station.

17. The mobile station according to claim ill wherein
when the power value subject to power limitation is respective transmission power values of frequency bands, the transmission-power control unit limits the respective transmission power values so that difference in transmission power between the frequency bands is within the allowable power difference, and when the power value subject to power limitation is respective power spectral densities of transmission, power values of frequency bands, the transmission-power control unit converts transmission power values of frequency bands into power spectral densities, respectively, and limits the power spectral densities so that difference in power spectral density between the frequency bands is within the allowable power difference.
