Abstract

The present invention relates to the field of polymer chemistry and more particularly to multiblock copolymers and micelles comprising the same. Compositions herein are useful for drug-delivery applications.

Claims

1. A micelle comprising a therapeutic agent and a triblock copolymer of formula II

2. The micelle of claim 1, wherein m is 2.

3. The micelle of claim 1, wherein R³ is —

OCH₃.

4. The micelle of claim 1, wherein R^y is a mixture of leucine, aspartic acid, and tyrosine side chain groups.

5. The micelle of claim 1, wherein R^y is a mixture of phenylalanine, aspartic acid, and tyrosine side chain groups.

6. The micelle of claim 1, wherein R^y is a mixture of leucine and tyrosine side chain groups.

7. The micelle of claim 1, wherein the therapeutic agent is SN-38.

8. The micelle of claim 1, wherein the therapeutic agent is daunorubicin.

9. The micelle of claim 1, wherein the therapeutic agent is epothilone D.

10. The micelle of claim 1, wherein the therapeutic agent is aminopterin.

11. The micelle of claim 1, wherein the therapeutic agent is cabazitaxel.

12. The micelle of claim 1, wherein the micelle is further comprises a metal ion.
