1. A method, comprising at least one computer with a resident computer readable medium having stored thereon non-transitory instructions which, when executed by a processor of the computer, causes the processor to perform the steps of:
- using a syndication facility by the at least one computer to subscribe to a plurality of syndicated data feeds containing a plurality of items relating to medicine, wherein the syndication facility is deployed as a service within a services oriented architecture;
aggregating a new healthcare data feed by the at least one computer, wherein the elements included within the new healthcare data feed are derived at least in part from the plurality of syndicated data feeds;
associating with the at least one computer a HIPAA security rule with at least one element included within the new healthcare data feed, wherein the HIPAA security rule is at least one of an administrative or technical safeguard; and
republishing with the at least one computer the new healthcare data feed within the services oriented architecture.
