Abstract

The systems, methods and apparatus relate to transparent, unified financial transactions as a means of reducing inefficiency, fraud, and mistake. More specifically, the systems, methods, and apparatus address automated reconciliation of financial transactions, the establishment of a four-way reconciliation process and a unified and transparent escrow process.

Claims

1. A system for performing automated reconciliation in financial transactions, comprising:

a. a server, further comprising multiple portals;

b. at least two transactors having access to the server by way of the portals, further comprising a payor and a payee;

c. a computer-readable program code, further comprising;

i. program code configured to initiate financial transactions;

ii. program code configured to store financial transaction information in a database;

iii. program code configured to transmit financial transaction information to transactors;

iv. program code configured to receive financial transaction information from transactors; and

v. program code configured to reconcile financial transactions based on the financial information provided by transactors.

2. The system of claim 1, further comprising at least one additional transactor chosen from the group consisting of:

payors, payees, mortgage lenders, title companies, real estate agents, real estate brokers, recorders, underwriters, lenders, venders, investors, loan originators, and title companies, wherein the additional transactor is also able to view and participate in the transaction.

3. The system of claim 1, further comprising providing a secure digital environment for the secure storage of financial transaction information.

The system of claim 3, wherein the secure financial transaction information is selected from the group consisting of digital signatures, supporting documentation, financial information, bank records, HUD forms, tax forms, personal identification information, bank account information, social security number information, investment account information, legal documents, insurance documents, mortgage information, lender information, background check information and credit check information.

5. The system of claim 1, further comprising an automated pre-reconciliation process.

6. The system of claim 1, further comprising an automated post-reconciliation process.

The system of claim 1, wherein the computer readable program code further comprises computer-readable code configured such that one transactor'"'"'s capital is held in escrow until the other transactor performs their obligations under the contract, such that each transactor is able to view the steps of the financial transaction through the server.

8. A method for performing financial transactions, comprising:

a. collecting financial transaction information from at least two transactors, further comprising a payor and a payee;

b. providing transactor financial transaction information; and

c. providing a computer utilizing software that through a series of steps creates a unified invoice and payment, wherein the payor'"'"'s payment and payee'"'"'s invoice are created simultaneously, such that each party is able to view the financial information of the transaction through the software.

9. The method of claim 8, further comprising providing at least one additional transactor chosen from the group consisting of:

mortgage lenders, title companies, real estate agents, real estate brokers, recorders, underwriters, lenders, venders, investors, loan originators, and title companies, wherein the additional party is also able to view and participate in the transaction.

10. The method of claim 8, further comprising providing a further comprising software configured to create a secure digital environment for the secure storage of financial transaction information.

The computer program product of claim 10, wherein the secure financial transaction information is selected from the group consisting of digital signatures, supporting documentation, financial information, bank records, HUD forms, tax forms, personal identification information, bank account information, social security number information, investment account information, legal documents, insurance documents, mortgage information, lender information, background check information and credit check information. The method of claim 8, further comprising automating pre-reconciliation.

12. The method of claim 8, further comprising automating post-reconciliation.

13. A method of claim 8, wherein one transactor'"'"'s capital is transparently held in escrow until the other transactor performs their obligations under the contract, such that each transactor is able to view the steps of the transaction through the software.

14. A computer program product for providing a financial transaction to transactors, the program comprising:

a. a computer readable medium having computer readable program code embodied therewith, the computer readable program code further comprising;

i. computer readable program code configured to initiate financial transactions;

ii. computer readable program code configured to store financial transaction information in a database;

iii. computer readable program code configured to display financial transaction information to the transactors;

iv. computer readable program code configured to receive financial transaction information from the transactors; and

v. computer readable program code configured to reconcile financial transactions based on the financial information provided by transactors.

15. The computer program product of claim 14, wherein the transactors are chosen from the group consisting of:

payors, payees, mortgage lenders, title companies, real estate agents, real estate brokers, recorders, underwriters, lenders, venders, investors, loan originators, and title companies.

16. The computer program product of claim 14, further comprising computer readable program code configured to create a secure digital environment for the secure storage of financial transaction information.

The computer program product of claim 16, wherein the secure financial transaction information is selected from the group consisting of digital signatures, supporting documentation, financial information, bank records, HUD forms, tax forms, personal identification information, bank account information, social security number information, investment account information, legal documents, insurance documents, mortgage information, lender information, background check information and credit check information.

18. The computer program product of claim 14, further comprising computer readable program code configured to create an automated pre-reconciliation process.

19. The computer program product of claim 14, further comprising computer readable program code configured to create an automated post-reconciliation process.

The computer program product of claim 14, wherein the computer readable program code further comprises computer-readable code configured such that one transactor'"'"'s capital is held in escrow until the other transactor performs their obligations under the contract, such that each transactor is able to view the steps of the financial transaction through the server.
