Abstract
Fluid delivery systems, methods and devices for delivering a therapeutic fluid to the body of the patient are disclosed. A fluid delivery device for delivering fluid to the body of the patient includes a housing having an upper wall, a lower wall, and an opening. The device includes a well-arrangement mechanism disposed inside the housing. The well-arrangement mechanism includes a tubular member having a bore disposed between the wall openings. The device also includes a penetrating cartridge for delivery of therapeutic fluid to the body of the patient. The cartridge is configured to engage the bore following its insertion through the opening such that the therapeutic fluid can be delivered through the tubular member into the penetrating cartridge, and into the body of the patient, when the penetrating cartridge engages the bore.
