Abstract

An electronic device for allowing the user not to terminate audio recording while at the same time checking the content corresponding to a recorded portion in real time during the audio recording, and a method of reproducing the audio signal. An electronic device according to an embodiment disclosed in the present disclosure may include a memory configured to store an audio signal being input; a display unit configured to display at least one of an item indicating a progressive state in which the audio signal is stored therein and an STT-based text for the audio signal; a user interface unit configured to receive the selection of a predetermined portion of the item indicating the progressive state or the selection of a partial character string of the text from the user; and a controller configured to reproduce an audio signal corresponding to the selected portion or the selected character string.

Claims

1. An electronic device, comprising:

a memory configured to store an audio signal being input;

a display unit configured to display at least one of an item indicating a progressive state in which the audio signal is stored therein and an STT-based text for the audio signal;

a user interface unit configured to receive the selection of a predetermined portion of the item indicating the progressive state or the selection of a partial character string of the text from the user; and

a controller configured to reproduce an audio signal corresponding to the selected portion or the selected character string.

2. The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the user interface unit receives the selection of a predetermined portion of the item indicating the progressive state while receiving the audio signal.

3. The electronic device of claim 1, further comprising:

an audio output unit configured to output an audio signal corresponding to the selected portion.

4. The electronic device of claim 1, further comprising:

an interface unit configured to output an audio signal corresponding to the selected portion to an earphone.

5. The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the display unit displays text into which an audio signal corresponding to the selected portion has been converted.

6. The electronic device of claim 5, wherein the converted text is a text into which the audio signal has been converted using a speech-to-text (STT) technology.

7. The electronic device of claim 5, wherein the controller converts the audio signal being input into text, and the memory stores the converted text.

8. The electronic device of claim 5, wherein the controller converts an audio signal corresponding to the selected portion into text.

9. The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the item indicating the progressive state is a progress bar.

10. The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the memory stores the time information of the audio signal being stored.

11. The electronic device of claim 10, wherein the display unit displays the time information of an audio signal corresponding to the selected portion.

12. The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the memory continues to store the audio signal being input while reproducing the audio signal corresponding to the selected portion.

13. A method of reproducing an audio signal in an electronic device, the method comprising:

storing an audio signal being input;

displaying at least one of an item indicating a progressive state in which the audio signal is stored therein and an STT-based text for the audio signal;

receiving the selection of a predetermined portion of the item indicating the progressive state or the selection of a partial character string of the text from the user; and

reproducing an audio signal corresponding to the selected portion or the selected character string.

14. The method of claim 13, wherein said receiving step is receiving the selection of a predetermined portion of the item indicating the progressive state while receiving the audio signal.

15. The method of claim 13, wherein said reproducing step comprises outputting an audio signal corresponding to the selected portion in an auditory manner.

16. The method of claim 13, wherein said reproducing step comprises outputting an audio signal corresponding to the selected portion to an earphone.

17. The method of claim 13, wherein said reproducing step comprises outputting text into which an audio signal corresponding to the selected portion has been converted.

18. The method of claim 17, wherein the converted text is a text into which the audio signal has been converted using a speech-to-text (STT) technology.

19. The method of claim 17, wherein said storing step comprises:

converting the audio signal being input into text; and

storing the converted text.

20. The method of claim 17, wherein said reproducing step comprises converting an audio signal corresponding to the selected portion into text.

21. The method of claim 13, wherein the item indicating the progressive state is a progress bar.

22. The method of claim 13, further comprising:

storing the time information of the audio signal being stored.

23. The method of claim 22, further comprising:

displaying the time information of an audio signal corresponding to the selected portion.

24. The method of claim 13, wherein further comprising:

continuously storing the audio signal being input while reproducing the audio signal corresponding to the selected portion.
