Abstract

It is described a neck rest where the cushion 1 is rotatably and eccentrically mounted on a mounting stay 2. The mounting stay is attached in a cushion by means of sector shaped hinges 3. The friction between the stay and cushion can be regulated by means of a wheel.

1. Neck rest comprising a neck cushion (1) rotatably attached to a mounting arm (2′

), charaterised in that the neck cushion (1) comprises two sector-shaped hinge elements (6), each with a spindle (7), the hinge elements (6) are arranged to be mounted towards each other, so that the two spindles together form a shaft,

the neck cushion further comprises a T-shaped revolving element (8) attached to the shaft, the revolving element (8) comprises a first sleeve (9) holding around the shaft and a second sleeve (10) being attached on the first sleeve, where the second sleeve is arranged to hold the mounting arm (2′

).

Neck rest according to claim 1, wherein the second sleeve (10) comprises threads on the outside, and the neck rest further comprises a regulation sleeve (11) surrounding and threaded on the second sleeve (10), a transfer sleeve (13) arranged inside the second sleeve (10) and outside the mounting arm (2′

), where one end of the transfer sleeve (13) abuts on a flange on the inside of the regulation sleeve (11) and the other end abuts on a clamping sleeve (14) which is clamped around the mounting arm (2′

), where the clamping sleeve (14) press on the shaft formed by the spindles (7).

3. Neck rest according to claim 2, where the second sleeve (10) is provided with through going slits on two sides and the first sleeve (9) is split on one side.

4. Neck rest according to claim 2, where the regulation sleeve (11) is provided with a wheel (12).

5. Neck rest according to claim 2 or 5, where the transfer sleeve (13) is provided with grooves on the outside that mesh with corresponding grooves on the inside of the second sleeve (10).

6. Neck rest according to claim 2 or 5, where transfer sleeve (13) is provided with grooves on the inside that mesh with corresponding grooves on the outside of the mounting arm (2′

7. Neck rest according to one of the proceeding claims, where each of the hinge elements (6), revolving element (8), regulation sleeve (11), transfer sleeve (13) and clamping sleeve (14) are made of metal, a polymeric material or a fibre-reinforced polymeric material or a combination of these.
