Abstract

A modulated video signal, received from a satellite, in a transceiver of a ship and of other water based communication devices, is demodulated and processed in a processor into a baseband processed video signal. The baseband video signal is processed and modulated into a Gaussian Minimum Shift Keyed (GMSK) or a Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) or a Orthogonal Division Multiple Access (OFDM) modulated video signal. Receiving in a receiver a location finder information signal. Receiving and transmitting in a cellular phone one or more OFDM modulated signals in a Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) system. Processing, cross-correlating and modulating, in a processor, a cross-correlator and a modulator of a cellular phone, an input signal into a processed, cross-correlated and modulated signal.

Claims

1. A method for:

receiving, demodulating and processing in a first receiver of a transceiver a satellite transmitted video signal into a demodulated processed baseband video signal, said transceiver is a ship or other water based communication device;

processing in a processor and modulating in a modulator said processed baseband video signal into a processed first Gaussian Minimum Shift Keyed (GMSK), or Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) or Orthogonal Division Multiple Access (OFDM) modulated video signal;

wirelessly transmitting in a first transmitter of said transceiver said modulated video signal to a mobile device;

receiving, demodulating and processing in a second receiver of said transceiver a second GMSK, or CDMA or OFDM modulated signal into a second processed GMSK or CDMA or OFDM signal, said second GMSK, or CDMA or OFDM modulated signal is received from said mobile device;

modulating and transmitting in a second modulator and a second transmitter of said transceiver said second processed GMSK or CDMA or OFDM signal to a satellite system;

receiving in a receiver of said transceiver location finder information signals, wherein said location finder information signals are received from a cellular system or from a Global Positioning System (GPS) satellite system;

receiving and transmitting in said mobile device one or more OFDM modulated signals in a Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) system;

processing, cross-correlating and modulating, in a processor, a cross-correlator and a modulator of said mobile device, an input signal into a processed, cross-correlated and modulated signal; and

transmitting in a transmitter of said mobile device said processed, cross-correlated and modulated signal to said transceiver.

The method of claim 1, further comprising step of Frequency Hopped Spread Spectrum (FH-SS) signal processing, modulating and transmitting in said mobile device a photo camera generated signal into quadrature and into a non-quadrature modulated photo camera generated signal and transmitting said quadrature and non-quadrature modulated signal and processing in said mobile device a touch screen generated signal into a touch screen generated control signal, said control signal is used a user of said mobile device to control use of a position finding GPS processed signal or a camera generated signal and further comprising a method for fingerprint authentication of said mobile device, and a method for receiving, demodulating and filtering by a receive filter in said mobile device said first modulated GMSK signal, wherein said first modulated GMSK signal is a cross-correlated transmit baseband Gaussian filter filtered and modulated GMSK signal, wherein said receive filter is mis-matched to said filter used in filtering the first modulated GMSK signal.

The method of claim 1, further comprising step of storing a video signal and receiving, demodulating and processing a Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) modulated signal into a demodulated processed in-phase and quadrature-phase cross-correlated signal and demodulating and processing a Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) modulated signal into a demodulated processed in-phase and quadrature-phase cross-correlated signal.

4. A method for:

receiving, demodulating and processing a Global Positioning System (GPS) and a photo camera generated modulated signal into a position finding GPS processed and said camera generated spread spectrum processed baseband signal, for providing said processed position finding and said camera spread spectrum processed signal to an interface unit of a first mobile device for position finding, and for viewing and storing said camera processed signal by a user of said first mobile device;

receiving, demodulating and processing a Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) modulated received first voice signal into a processed first voice signal for providing, said processed first voice signal to said user of said first mobile device;

generating and processing in said first mobile device a video camera generated video signal, processing and providing said video signal wirelessly to a second mobile device or to a television, said second mobile device and said television is at a different location than said first mobile device;

generating, processing, cross-correlating, filtering and modulating a second voice signal into a processed, cross-correlated in-phase and quadrature phase cross-correlated, transmit baseband filtered, modulated signal and for providing said cross-correlated transmit baseband filtered, modulated signal to a transmitter, said transmitter is in said first mobile device; and

processing a touch screen generated signal into a touch screen generated control signal, said control signal is used by said user to control use of said position finding UPS processed signal or said camera generated processed signal, or said processed first and second voice signal and video signal and to control said providing said processed video signal wirelessly to a second mobile device or to a television, and said touch screen generated signal is generated in said first mobile device.

The method of claim 4, further comprising step of Frequency Hopped Spread Spectrum (FH-SS) signal processing, modulating and transmitting, in said first mobile device a photo camera generated signal into quadrature and into a non-quadrature modulated photo camera generated signal and transmitting said quadrature and non-quadrature modulated signal and processing in said first mobile device a touch screen generated signal into a touch screen generated control signal, said control signal is used a user of said first mobile device to control use of a position finding UPS processed signal or a camera generated signal and, further comprising a method for fingerprint authentication of said first mobile device, and a method for receiving, demodulating and filtering by a receive filter in said first mobile a modulated GMSK signal, wherein said first modulated GMSK signal is a cross-correlated transmit baseband Gaussian filter filtered and modulated GMSK signal and comprising step of storing in said first mobile device a video signal and receiving, demodulating and processing a Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) modulated signal into a demodulated processed in-phase and quadrature-phase cross-correlated signal and demodulating and processing a Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) modulated signal into a demodulated processed in-phase and quadrature-phase cross-correlated signal.

6. The method of claim 4, further comprising step of providing to said first mobile unit a processed voice signal by a wire to said first mobile unit.

The method of claim 4, wherein said processed touch screen control signal controls selection of provided processed TDMA or spread spectrum or OFDM signal to said transmitter for transmission and said providing processed voice signal by a wire to a mobile unit comprises step of providing a control signal by wired connection for control of said first mobile unit and wherein said processed OFDM signal is used in a Wi-Fi wireless network and said TDMA or spectrum signal is used in a cellular system, wherein said wireless network and said cellular system are distinct and said method further comprises processing and providing, processed location finder signal received from at least two satellite transmitters and from at least two land based transmitters, wherein said received signals from satellite transmitters are received in different radio frequency bands, than said signals received, from said land based transmitters and said processed TDMA or spread spectrum signal comprises code selectable cross-correlated in-phase and quadrature-phase Time Constrained Signal (TCS) wavelet processed and Long Response (LR) filtered baseband signals.

The method of claim 4, wherein said processed CDMA signal comprises cross-correlated in-phase and quadrature-phase-Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) signal and said transmitter for transmission comprises a non-quadrature modulator and a quadrature modulator, wherein said non-quadrature modulator is used for modulation and transmission of said processed TDMA signal, said quadrature modulator is used for modulation and transmission of said processed CDMA signal and said non-quadrature and quadrature modulators are distinct modulators, said method further comprising step of amplification of said processed TDMA signal by an amplifier operated in a non-linearly amplified (NLA) mode and amplification of said processed CDMA signal and said processed OFDM signal by amplifier operated in a linearly amplified mode.

9. A system comprising:

a processor, modulator and transmitter for processing, modulating and transmitting a first video signal, generated in a first mobile device, into a first processed and modulated, video signal for transmission of said processed and modulated video signal, in a Wi-Fi network, to a receiver of a television (TV) device or to a receiver of a second mobile device, wherein said TV device is a different device than said first mobile device and said second mobile device is a different device than said first mobile device;

a processor, modulator and transmitter for processing, modulating and transmitting a control signal for remote control of said TV device or said second mobile device, wherein said control signal is generated in said first mobile device;

a receiver, demodulator and processor for receiving, demodulating and processing a second video modulated signal, in said first mobile device, into a demodulated and processed second video signal and providing said processed second video signal to an interface unit of said first mobile device, said second video modulated signal is received from a cellular system;

a receiver, demodulator and processor for receiving, demodulating and processing in said first mobile device a Global Positioning System (GPS) satellite generated location finding signal into a demodulated and processed, location finding signal;

a processor for processing a photo camera generated data, said photo camera is in said first mobile device, into a processed digital signal and combining said processed digital signal with said processed location finding signal into a combined Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) signal and providing said combined CDMA signal to a modulator and a transmitter for modulation and transmission in a cellular system, wherein said cellular system is a distinct system from said Wi-Fi network; and

a cable connection for providing said first video signal by a cable connection to said TV device or said second mobile device.

The system of claim 9 further comprising in said first mobile device a first transmit baseband filter for processing and filtering by a transmit, filter a first bit rate cross-correlated in-phase and quadrature-phase filtered Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) signal and into a second bit rate cross-correlated spread spectrum in-phase and quadrature-phase baseband signal and providing the first and second bit rate signal to a modulator for modulation, wherein first and second rates are distinct rates and comprising in said first mobile unit a receiver, a demodulator, receive filter for receiving, demodulating, filtering and processing said transmit filter filtered TDMA signal, said receive filter is iris-matched to said transmit baseband filter and said receiver filter provides cross-correlated filtered in-phase and quadrature-phase signal.
