Abstract

A user terminal device including a display, a sensor configured to detect a user input on the display, a controller configured to extract objects displayed within an area on the display indicated by the user input on the display and add the objects to a wish list, and a memory configured to store the wish list. The user terminal device executes a method for providing an electronic shopping service, the method including receiving a user input at a user terminal device, determining a selection area on a screen of the user terminal device corresponding to the user input, determining a shopping object within the selection area, extracting information of the shopping object within the selection area, and adding the information to a wish list.

Claims

1. A user terminal device, comprising:

a display;

a sensor configured to detect a user input on the display;

a controller configured to extract objects displayed within an area on the display indicated by the user input on the display and add the objects to a wish list; and

a memory configured to store the wish list.

2. The user terminal device of claim 1, wherein the controller is further configured to add price information to the wish list by comparing prices of the objects on the wish list and prices of the objects displayed in response to the area being revisited.

3. The user terminal device of claim 1, further comprising:

a nearfield wireless communicator configured to receive a payment request to pay a price for an object,

wherein the controller is further configured to determine whether the object is registered in the wish list in response to the nearfield wireless communicator receiving the payment request, and

wherein the controller is further configured to determine whether the price is lowest among prices in the wish list for the object.

11. The user terminal device of claim 1, wherein the controller is further configured to classify the extracted objects according to a plurality of classification items.

4. A method of providing shopping service in a user terminal device, the method comprising:

displaying a shopping screen on a display;

detecting a user input on the display;

extracting objects displayed within an area on the display indicated by the user input on the display;

adding the objects to a wish list; and

storing the wish list in a memory.

5. The method of claim 4, further comprising:

adding price information to the wish list by comparing prices of the objects on the wish list and prices of the objects displayed in response to the area being revisited.

6. The method of claim 4, further comprising:

receiving a payment request to pay a price for an object at a nearfield wireless communicator;

determining whether the object is registered in the wish list in response to the nearfield wireless communicator receiving the payment request; and

determining whether the price is lowest among the prices in the wish list for the object.

7. A host, comprising:

a memory configured to store customer information of a user and a purchasing record of the user;

a communicator configured to receive a payment request from a user terminal device;

an additional service manager configured to determine additional service information that is provided to the user based on the purchasing record in response to the communicator receiving the payment request; and

a controller configured to create an electronic receipt by processing payment according to the payment request, add the additional service information to the electronic receipt, and issue the electronic receipt through the communicator to the user terminal device.

8. The host of claim 7, wherein the additional service information comprises at least one of information regarding coupon to be issued for the user, stamp coupon information, and event information.

9. A user terminal device, comprising:

a memory configured to store a purchasing record comprising time, place, and activity information;

a controller configured to analyze the time, place, and activity information for a repeating purchase activity pattern, create an informing condition that is met at a next projected purchase activity from the repeating purchase activity pattern, and store the informing record in the memory; and

a display configured to display an informing message in response to the informing condition being met.

10. A user terminal device, comprising:

a memory;

a communicator configured to receive an electronic receipt from a host; and

a controller configured to search for contents corresponding to an issuing time and an issuing location of the electronic receipt from at least one of the memory and an external server, add the searched contents to the electronic receipt, and store the electronic receipt to which the contents are added in the memory.

12. A method for providing an electronic shopping service, the method comprising:

receiving a user input at a user terminal device;

determining a selection area on a screen of the user terminal device corresponding to the user input;

determining a shopping object within the selection area;

extracting information of the shopping object within the selection area; and

adding the information to a wish list.

13. The method of claim 12, wherein determining the selection area further comprises:

creating a virtual closed curve that designates the selection area.

14. The method of claim 12, further comprising classifying the shopping object based on an image, a price, a description, a web address, and a product identification.

15. The method of claim 12,

wherein the wish list comprises at least one product entry, and

wherein the product entry comprises the extracted information and other product information associated with the shopping object.
