Abstract

According to one embodiment, a lighting system includes a luminaire and a lighting control device. The lighting control device includes an operation section, a target-value managing section, a transmitting section, and a display section and controls the luminaire. The target-value managing section stores an operation state of the luminaire and, when the operation section is operated, calculates an operation target value on the basis of the stored operation state of the luminaire and updates the operation state to the operation target value serving as an operation state of the luminaire after the operation. The transmitting section transmits the operation target value as a radio signal. The display section performs display based on the operation target value.

Claims

1. A lighting system comprising:

a luminaire; and

a lighting control device configured to control the luminaire and including;

an operation section;

a target value managing section configured to store an operation state of the luminaire and, when the operation section is operated, calculate an operation target value on the basis of the stored operation state of the luminaire and update the operation state to the operation target value serving as an operation state of the luminaire after the operation;

a transmitting section configured to transmit the operation target value as a radio signal; and

a display section configured to perform display based on the operation target value.

The system according to claim 1, wherein the lighting control device transmits, until the operation is completed, a signal shorter than the operation target value as the radio signal when the operation of the operation section is continued and transmits the operation target value as the radio signal when the operation of the operation section is completed.

3. The system according to claim 1, wherein, if the calculated operation target value is different from the stored operation state of the luminaire, the lighting control device transmits the operation target value as the radio signal.

The system according to claim 2, wherein, when the operation of the operation section is continued, if the operation target value is the same as the operation state of the luminaire, the lighting control device transmits the operation target value as a radio signal and ends the transmission before the operation of the operation section is completed.

5. The system according to claim 1, wherein the lighting control device stores the received operation target value as an operation state and controls the luminaire on the basis of the stored operation state.

The system according to claim 1, wherein the display section displays power consumption in the operation state of the luminaire as a ratio to power consumption during full light or displays power saving as a value obtained by subtracting the power consumption in the operation state of the luminaire from the power consumption during the full light.

7. The system according to claim 1, wherein the operation target value is a light output of the luminaire.

8. The system according to claim 1, wherein the operation target value is a light color of the light source section.

9. A control method for a lighting system including a luminaire and a lighting control device including an operation section and configured to control the luminaire, the method comprising:

storing an operation state of the luminaire;

calculating, when the operation section is operated, an operation target value on the basis of the stored operation state of the luminaire and updating the operation state to the operation target value as an operation state of the luminaire after the operation;

transmitting the operation target value as a radio signal; and

performing display based on the operation target value.

10. The method according to claim 9, further comprising:

transmitting, until the operation is completed, a signal shorter than the operation target value as the radio signal when the operation of the operation section is continued; and

transmitting the operation target value as the radio signal when the operation of the operation section is completed.

11. The method according to claim 9, further comprising transmitting, if the operation target value is different from the stored operation state of the luminaire, the operation target value as the radio signal.

The method according to claim 9, further comprising transmitting, when the operation of the operation section is continued, if the operation target value is the same as the operation state of the luminaire, the operation target value as a radio signal and ending the transmission before the operation of the operation section is completed.

13. The method according to claim 9, further comprising storing the received operation target value as an operation state and controlling the luminaire on the basis of the stored operation state.

14. The method according to claim 9, further comprising displaying power consumption in the operation state of the luminaire as a ratio to power consumption during full light or displaying power saving as a value obtained by subtracting the power consumption in the operation state of the luminaire from the power consumption during the full light.

15. The method according to claim 9, wherein the operation target value is a light output of the luminaire.

16. A lighting control device for a luminaire, the device comprising:

an input panel;

a control unit including a processor and memory that is configured to store in the memory an operation state of the luminaire and generate using the processor an operation target value on the basis of the stored operation state of the luminaire and one or more inputs received through the input panel and update using the processor the operation state of the luminaire stored in the memory to the operation target value, which will serve as an operation state of the luminaire after the operation; and

a transmitter configured to transmit a radio signal containing the operation target value as instructed by the control unit.

17. The device according to claim 16, further comprising:

a display unit configured to display a value corresponding to power consumption at the luminaire based on the operation target value.

The device according to claim 16, wherein the control unit is configured to generate and transmit through the transmitter a control signal that includes the operation target value and one or more repeat signals following the control signal, none of the repeat signals including the operation target value, and each of the repeat signals having a signal duration that is shorter than the control signal.

19. The device according to claim 18, wherein the control unit is configured to stop transmission of the repeat signals when the operation target value is the same as the stored operation state of the luminaire.

20. The device according to claim 16, wherein the control unit is configured to not instruct the transmitter to transmit the radio signal when the when the operation target value is the same as the stored operation state of the luminaire.
