Abstract

A device and a method are provided. In a terminal capable of at least one of a wireless charging function and a near field communication (NFC) function, the device displays operation states of the functions via an e-skin unit. Wireless charging efficiency, a charging state, and a communication state may be selectively or totally displayed to a user.

Claims

1. A device for displaying a state of a terminal capable of communication and electric charge, the device comprising:

a communication unit;

a charging unit;

an output unit displaying at least one of communication state information, charging state information, and charging efficiency state information of the terminal to be different via a color-variable indication unit in accordance with an operation state; and

a control unit controlling the units.

The device according to claim 1, wherein the output unit comprises the color-variable indication unit displaying at least one of the communication state information, the charging state information, and the charging efficiency state information to be in difference colors in accordance with an operation state thereof

3. The device according to claim 1, wherein the color-variable indication unit comprises a color-variable e-skin unit.

4. A device for displaying a state of a terminal capable of communication and electric charge, the device comprising:

a communication unit;

a charging unit;

an output unit displaying the state of the terminal;

an input unit for inputting a user command to display at least one of charging state information and charging efficiency information of the charging unit and communication state information of the communication unit by using the output unit;

a memory unit, to allow the at least one of charging state information, charging efficiency information, and communication state information to be displayed differently via a color-variable indication unit in accordance with an operation state, storing color information corresponding to the operation state;

a sensing unit sensing at least one of the states; and

a control unit controlling to allow color information corresponding to a result of the sensing.

5. The device according to claim 4, further comprising a shielding unit for preventing an influence of a signal on the control unit, the signal being generated from at least one of the communication unit and the charging unit.

6. The device according to claim 5, wherein at least one performance of the wireless charging efficiency and the NFC efficiency is increased in accordance with the shielding unit.

7. The device according to claim 4, wherein the output unit is formed at least one location of a rear case and a battery cover of the terminal.

8. The device according to claim 7, wherein the color information indicating the operation state is continuously outputted.

9. A method of displaying a state of a terminal, the method comprising:

setting to display an operation state of the terminal via a color-variable indication unit ;

checking at least one of charging state information, charging efficiency state information, and communication state information in accordance with a control operation of a control unit; and

outputting color information corresponding to an operation state with respect to the checked state information via an output unit.

10. The method according to claim 9, further comprising storing respective color information corresponding to the operation states with respect to the at least one of charging state information, charging efficiency state information, and communication state information in a memory unit.

11. The method according to claim 10, wherein the color information corresponding to the operation state with respect to the respective state information is outputted via a rear case of the terminal.

12. The method according to claim 10, wherein the color information corresponding to the operation state with respect to the respective state information is outputted via a battery cover.

13. The method according to claim 10, wherein there are 3 to 5 colors in the memory unit, the colors indicating the operation state with respect to the respective state information.

17. The method according to claim 9, wherein the color-variable indication unit comprises a color-variable e-skin unit.

14. A method of displaying a state of a terminal, the method comprising:

setting, via an input unit, to display state information of the terminal;

selecting, via the input unit, state information to be displayed;

checking an operation state of the selected state information in accordance with a control of a control unit;

matching the checked operation state with a color stored in a memory unit; and

outputting, via an output unit, the color checked via the matching.

15. The method according to claim 14, wherein color information corresponding to an operation state with respect to the respective state information is outputted from at least one location of a rear case of the terminal and a battery cover of the terminal.

16. The method according to claim 15, wherein the color indicating the operation state is continuously outputted.
