Abstract

For methods, system, and apparatuses for dynamic response management a network device may receive an application service identifier and assign a radio resource to a first device based on the application service identifier. There may be a partitioning of content into a plurality of segments. There also may be an assignment of a quality of service level to a segment of the plurality segments and an adjustment of the quality of service level based on sensors of a device and other inputs.

Claims

1. A method comprising:

partitioning, by a system having a processor, content into a plurality of segments;

assigning, by the system, a first quality of service level to a first segment of the plurality of segments; and

adjusting, by the system, the first quality of service level of the first segment to a second quality of service level of a second segment based on a device feedback of the first segment.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the content comprises video.

3. The method of claim 1, wherein the device feedback comprises at least one of:

a selected parameter;

a key stroke;

a touch screen imprint;

a detected change in temperature;

or

detected movement.

4. The method of claim 1, wherein the first quality of service level of the first segment of the plurality of segments is based on at least one of:

the content being provided by a first category of a plurality of categories of wireless transmit/receive units (WTRUs), or

the content being received on the first category of the plurality of categories of WTRUs.

5. The method of claim 4, further comprising:

transmitting the content over a first backhaul circuit, the transmission based on whether the content is from the first category.

6. The method of claim 4, wherein the first category comprises at least one of a WTRU operating system, a WTRU model number, a WTRU physical device characteristic, or a WTRU software device characteristic.

7. The method of claim 5, wherein the backhaul network comprises at least one of a fiber backhaul network, a wireless backhaul network, or a copper backhaul network.

8. The method of claim 5, wherein transmitting the content over the first backhaul circuit further is based on at least one of a weather condition or a performance latency requirement.

9. A method comprising:

identifying, by a base station, an application service; and

assigning, by the base station, a radio resource to a first device based on the identified application service.

10. The method of claim 9, further comprising:

performing a capability exchange between a first device and a second device to determine if the first device and a second device are capable of the application service delivery.

11. The method of claim 9, further comprising:

performing a table look up to identify the required radio resource for the identified application service.

12. The method of claim 9, further comprising:

receiving a radio resource update request including an new application service; and

updating the radio resource based on the new application service identifier.

13. The method of claim 9, further comprising:

receiving a radio resource delete request including an old application service identifier that will no longer be required; and

deleting the radio resource based on the old application service identifier.

14. A network device comprising

a memory storing instructions;

and a

a processor coupled to the memory, wherein the processor executes the instructions and performs operations comprising;

receiving an application service identifier;

assigning a radio resource to a first device based on the application service identifier.

15. The network device of claim 14, wherein the processor executing the instructions further performs operations comprising:

updating the radio resource based on a new application service identifier received with a radio resource update request.

16. The network device of claim 14, wherein the processor executing the instructions further performs operations comprising:

partitioning an application service associated with an application service identifier into a plurality of segments;

assigning a first quality of service level to a first segment of the plurality of segments; and

automatically adjusting the first quality of service level to a second quality of service level based on a user experience of the first segment.

17. The network device of claim 14, wherein the processor executing the instructions further performs operations comprising:

deleting the radio resource based on an old application service identifier received with a radio resource delete request.

18. The network device of claim 14, wherein the processor executing the instructions further performs operations comprising:

building a look up table for a wireless transmit/receive unit regarding radio resources and an application services associated with the application identifier.

19. The network device of claim 14, where the processor executing the instructions further performs operations comprising:

querying the look-up table at least one of continually or periodically in order to determine whether to update the radio resource for a radio bearer.

20. The network device of claim 14, wherein the network device comprises one of a wireless transmit/receive unit, a wireless base station, or a home subscriber server.
