1. A system for fire prevention in electrical installations,characterised in that the system comprises:
- one or more temperature sensors arranged in or close to positions in the electrical installation that are to be monitored;
one or more electromagnetic signal transmitters connected to the temperature sensors and adapted to be able to transmit several temperature measurements at intervals;
one or more electromagnetic signal readers adapted to communicate with and receive signals from the signal transmitters; and
a processing unit connected to the signal reader to process the signals and provide an indication signal.

9. A method for fire prevention in electrical installations,
characterised in that it comprises: -
placing one or more temperature sensors in or close to positions that are to be monitored in the electrical installation; measuring temperature and transmitting electromagnetic signals at intervals with the aid of one or more signal transmitters connected to the temperature sensors; receiving the electromagnetic signal with the aid of one or more signal readers adapted to communicate with and receive signals from the signal transmitters; and processing the signals to provide an indication signal. - View Dependent Claims (10, 11, 12, 13)
