1. An apparatus, comprising:
- a content management computing system in networked communication with a mobile communications device associated with a user and a computing device associated with a content curator, the content management computing system configured to;
store language-based content received from the computing device;
translate the language-based content received from the content curator into a plurality of language translations;
link the plurality of language translations to a trigger;
cause the display of a visual representation of the trigger on the computing device associated with the content curator;
receive a network communication from the mobile communications device comprising the trigger;
determine that the plurality of language translations are linked to the received trigger;
cause the transmission of at least one of the plurality of language translations to the mobile communications device; and
store analytics data related to the network communication received from the mobile communications devices, wherein the analytics data is accessible to the content curator via the computing device.

Abstract
Systems, methods and apparatus are disclosed for linking virtual content to various types of object, such a static physical objects, through the use of triggers of varying formats. The virtual content can be updated by a content curator over time. The virtual content can be translated into a plurality of languages and can be selectively transmitted to a mobile communications device upon receipt of the trigger.

7. A computer-based method, comprising:
-
receiving language-based content from a remote computing device operated by a content curator; storing the language-based content in a content database; linking a trigger with the language-based content; subsequent to linking the trigger with the language-based content, receiving a wireless communication comprising the trigger from a first mobile communications device; after receiving the wireless communication, determining content stored in the content database that is linked to the trigger, wherein the content is the language-based content; sending a first informational response to the first mobile communications device, the first informational response comprising a language translation of the language-based content; allowing the content curator to alter the language-based content stored in the content database that is linked to the trigger; and responsive to receiving an alteration to the language-based content, storing the altered language-based content in the content database, wherein the link to the trigger is maintained. - View Dependent Claims (8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14)

15. An apparatus, comprising:
-
a content management system in communication with a first mobile communications device and a second mobile communications device, the content management system comprising a data store, a processor and a non-transitory computer readable medium having instructions stored thereon which when executed by the processor cause the processor to; store in the data store a plurality of triggers, wherein each of the plurality of triggers is linked to a different mobile communications device; receive a communication from the first mobile communications device, the communication comprising; a trigger, wherein the trigger is one of the plurality of triggers stored in the data store, and a first message in a first language; determine that the first message is directed to the second mobile communication device based on the linking of the trigger to the second mobile communication device in the data store; determine a language preference associated with the second mobile communications device, wherein the language preference is a second language; cause the first message to be translated from the first language to the second language to generate a translated first message; and cause the translated first message to be sent to the second mobile communications device. - View Dependent Claims (16, 17, 18, 19, 20)
