Abstract

According to an aspect, an electronic device includes: a display unit for three-dimensionally displaying a predetermined object; an operation unit for executing an operation associated with the object; a detecting unit for detecting a displacement of a predetermined material body in three-dimensional space where the object is displayed; and a control unit for determining a strength of an operation performed on the object based on the detected displacement and changing a content of the operation according to the determined strength.

Claims

1. An electronic device comprising:

a display unit for three-dimensionally displaying a predetermined object;

an operation unit for executing an operation associated with the object;

a detecting unit for detecting a displacement of a predetermined material body in three-dimensional space where the object is displayed; and

a control unit for determining a strength of an operation performed on the object based on the detected displacement and changing a content of the operation according to the determined strength.

2. The electronic device according to claim 1, wherein the detecting unit detects the displacement without contacting the predetermined material body.

3. The electronic device according to claim 1, wherein the control unit determines the strength of the operation based on a distance in which the predetermined material body moves in the three-dimensional space.

4. The electronic device according to claim 1, wherein the control unit determines the strength of the operation based on a time required for movement of the predetermined material body from a predetermined first position to a predetermined second position.

5. The electronic device according to claim 1, wherein the control unit determines the strength of the operation based on a speed converted from a time required for movement of the predetermined material body from a predetermined first position to a predetermined second position.

6. The electronic device according to claim 1, wherein the control unit determines the strength of the operation based on a time required for a change in a size of the predetermined material body.

7. The electronic device according to claim 1, wherein the control unit determines the strength of the operation based on a ratio at which a size of the predetermined material body changes.

8. The electronic device according to claim 1, wherein the predetermined material body is a finger.

9. The electronic device according to claim 8, wherein the displacement of the predetermined material body is detected based on an image captured by an imaging unit for capturing the space, and the control unit checks previously stored fingerprint data against the image to thereby calculate the size of the predetermined material body.

10. The electronic device according to claim 1, wherein the control unit adjusts a threshold for determining a strength of an operation based on a difference or a ratio between a strength of a specified operation and the strength of the operation determined based on the displacement of the predetermined material body.

11. The electronic device according to claim 1, wherein the control unit adjusts a degree of stereoscopic vision that three-dimensionally displays the object on the display unit based on the degree of stereoscopic vision that three-dimensionally displays the object on the display unit and a result of detecting a position of the predetermined material body when an operation of contacting the object is performed.

12. A control method executed by an electronic device including a display unit, the

three-dimensionally displaying a predetermined object;

executing an operation associated with the object;

detecting a displacement of a predetermined material body in three-dimensional space where the object is displayed; and

determining a strength of an operation performed on the object based on the detected displacement and changing a content of the operation according to the determined strength.

13. A non-transitory storage medium that stores a control program for causing, when executed by an electronic device including a display unit, the electronic device to execute:

three-dimensionally displaying a predetermined object;

executing an operation associated with the object;

detecting a displacement of a predetermined material body in three-dimensional space where the object is displayed; and

determining a strength of an operation performed on the object based on the detected displacement and changing a content of the operation according to the determined strength.
