1. A method of obtaining a resource, which is obtained by a device management server from a device management client, the method comprising:
- determining whether a cache validator of a first type for a first resource exists, wherein the cache validator of the first type is directly used for the first resource;
determining whether a cache validator of a second type for the first resource exists, wherein the cache validator of the second type is used for a second resource including the first resource, when the cache validator of the first type for the first resource does not exist; and
transmitting a request for the first resource to the device management client using an identifier for the first resource, an identifier for the second resource and the cache validator for the second resource, when the cache validator of the second type for the first resource exists.
