1. Apparatus for controlling communication between a host system and devices in a network, the apparatus comprising:
- a diagnosis interface for communicating with the devices;
a WLAN interface for communicating with the host system;
a WLAN module for controlling data communication between the apparatus and the host system via the WLAN interface;
a diagnosis module for preparing data for communication with the host system;
a communication module for controlling communication between the diagnosis module and the devices;
wherein the WLAN module and the diagnosis module are implemented in a common WLAN processor;
wherein the communication module is implemented in a separate communication processor, the processor including a real-time operating system.
