1. A method of determining glucose information, comprising:
- receiving a signal associated with a monitored glucose level from an in vivo glucose sensor;
retrieving stored signals associated with the monitored glucose level; and
determining a rate of change of the monitored glucose level based on the received signal associated with the monitored glucose level and the retrieved stored signals, wherein the retrieved stored signals do not exceed a preset tolerance level such that no more than a predetermined number of the stored signals are determined to be corrupt.

16. A method of determining glucose level information, comprising:
-
generating data associated with a monitored glucose level based on signals obtained from a glucose sensor in fluid contact with interstitial fluid under a skin layer; storing the generated data in a data storage unit; determining temperature information associated with the glucose sensor; storing the determined temperature information in the data storage unit; retrieving a sensor code associated with the glucose sensor from the data storage unit; transmitting the stored generated data associated with the monitored glucose level, the stored temperature information and the retrieved sensor code in the same data transmission; receiving the transmitted data associated with the monitored glucose level, the temperature information, and the sensor code from the same data transmission; processing the data associated with the monitored glucose level with the received temperature information and the sensor code by performing temperature compensation of the data associated with the monitored glucose level with the received temperature information, and applying a scaling factor to the received data associated with the monitored glucose level; and determining a glucose level trend information based on the processed data. - View Dependent Claims (17, 18)
