1. A method of information selection in a wireless communication system performed on a propagator node, comprising:

  • receiving an information datagram from an information distribution gateway (IDG) node in response to a first selection request signal, wherein said IDG node received said information datagram from an information repository, and wherein said information datagram comprises an information tag;

    storing said information datagram in an information cache;

    receiving a second selection request signal via an access point, wherein said selection request signal identifies information requested by a selector node;

    determining all or a portion of said second selection request signal matches all or a portion of said information tag stored in said information cache; and

    forwarding said information datagram to said selector node as a result of the match, wherein said information datagram contains all or a portion of said information.
