1. A computer-implemented method comprising:
- generating, using one or more computing devices, a plurality of user accounts, each associated with a particular user;
assigning an initial engagement value to each user account based upon, at least in part, each user'"'"'s actions with one or more merchants;
identifying at least one trackable purchase event associated with each user account;
adjusting the initial engagement value based upon an advertising parameter set by an advertiser; and
allowing each of the plurality of user accounts to direct at least one portion of the revenue generated from the at least one trackable purchase event to at least one beneficiary of the user account, wherein the at least one beneficiary includes one or more entities selected by the particular user associated with each of the plurality of user accounts.
