Abstract

An application development center system is described. A method may comprise receiving an application at a server computing device; accessing test data from one or more data sources; testing the application within a development environment resident on the server computing device utilizing the test data; and presenting test results on a user interface accessible by a client computing device. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Claims

1. A computer-implemented method comprising:

receiving an application at a server computing device;

accessing test data from one or more data sources;

testing the application within a development environment resident on the server computing device utilizing the test data; and

presenting test results on a user interface accessible by a client computing device.

2. The computer-implemented method of claim 1, the test data comprising a sub-set of data contained in the one or more data sources.

3. The computer-implemented method of claim 1, wherein testing the application comprises executing the application utilizing test data from a specified time period.

4. The computer-implemented method of claim 1, wherein the application is tested according to one or more test conditions.

5. The computer-implemented method of claim 1, the application comprising application code developed in the development environment.

6. The computer-implemented method of claim 1, the application comprising a fantasy sports application.

7. The computer-implemented method of claim 6, the fantasy sports application comprising at least one of a fantasy baseball application and a fantasy football application.

8. The computer-implemented method of claim 7, the one or more data sources comprising at least one of a baseball league statistics data source and a football league statistics data source.

9. An apparatus, comprising:

a transceiver;

a processor circuit coupled to the transceiver; and

a memory unit coupled to the processor circuit, the memory unit to store a development center testing application operative on the processor circuit to test an application, the development center testing application comprising;

an application component operative to receive an application;

a test data component operative to access test data from one or more data sources via the transceiver;

an application test component operative to test the application within a development environment utilizing the test data; and

a test results component operative to present test results on a user interface accessible by a client computing device.

10. The apparatus of claim 9, the test data comprising a sub-set of data contained in the one or more data sources.

11. The apparatus of claim 9, the application test component operative to test the application via executing the application utilizing test data from a specified time period.

12. The apparatus of claim 9, the application test component operative to test the application according to one or more test conditions.

13. The apparatus of claim 9, the application comprising application code developed in the development environment.

14. The apparatus of claim 9, the application comprising a fantasy sports application.

15. The apparatus of claim 14, the fantasy sports application comprising at least one of a fantasy baseball application and a fantasy football application.

16. The apparatus of claim 15, the one or more data sources comprising at least one of a baseball league statistics data source and a football league statistics data source.

17. At least one computer-readable storage medium comprising instructions that, when executed, cause a system to:

receive an application;

access test data from one or more data sources;

test the application within a development environment utilizing the test data; and

present test results on a user interface accessible by a client computing device.

18. The computer-readable storage medium of claim 17, the test data comprising a sub-set of data contained in the one or more data sources.

19. The computer-readable storage medium of claim 17, comprising instructions that, when executed, cause the system to test the application via executing the application utilizing test data from a specified time period.

20. The computer-readable storage medium of claim 17, comprising instructions that, when executed, cause the system to test the application according to one or more test conditions.

21. The computer-readable storage medium of claim 17, the application comprising application code developed in the development environment.

22. The computer-readable storage medium of claim 17, the application comprising a fantasy sports application.

23. The computer-readable storage medium of claim 22, the fantasy sports application comprising at least one of a fantasy baseball application and a fantasy football application.

24. The computer-readable storage medium of claim 23, the one or more data sources comprising at least one of a baseball league statistics data source and a football league statistics data source.

25. A computer-implemented method comprising:

presenting an application within a development environment resident on a server computing device;

generating an application test to test the application, the application test comprising test data and one or more test conditions;

running the application test;

accessing test results presented on a user interface accessible by a client computing device.

26. The computer-implemented method of claim 25, the test data comprising a sub-set of data contained in one or more data sources accessible by the server computing device.

27. The computer-implemented method of claim 25, wherein testing the application comprises executing the application utilizing test data from a specified time period.
