Abstract

Provided are methods for changing a display range in an electronic device having a touchscreen. The method for changing a display range in an electronic device includes: detecting a plurality of touches; determining a plurality of regions in consideration of a plurality of touch points; and changing a display range of at least one region of the plurality of regions in consideration of change in a distance between the plurality of touch points.

Claims

1. A method for displaying a screen in an electronic device having a touchscreen, comprising:

detecting a plurality of touches;

determining a plurality of regions in consideration of a plurality of touch points of the plurality of touches; and

changing a display range of at least one region of the plurality of regions in consideration of change in a distance between the plurality of touch points.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein changing the display range comprises:

expanding the display range of the at least one region in consideration of the distance between the plurality of touch points when the distance between the plurality of touch points is short; and

,

reducing a size of at least one remaining region except the at least one expanded region among the plurality of regions prior to display.

3. The method of claim 2, wherein, contents of the at least one remaining region except the at least one expanded region among the plurality of regions is reduced prior to display.

4. The method of claim 2, wherein a display range of the at least one remaining region except the at least one expanded region among the plurality of regions is reduced.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein determining the plurality of regions comprises:

checking whether a screen control event is generated by the detected plurality of touch points; and

determining the plurality of regions in consideration of the plurality of touch points when the screen control event is generated.

6. The method of claim 1, wherein determining the plurality of regions comprises:

determining the plurality of regions based on the plurality of touch points.

7. The method of claim 6, wherein determining a plurality of regions comprises:

determining the plurality of regions in consideration of one or more angles between the detected plurality of touch points.

8. A method for displaying a screen in an electronic device having a touchscreen, comprising:

detecting a touch;

determining a plurality of regions in consideration of a touch point of the touch; and

changing a display range of at least one region of the plurality of regions of the plurality of regions in consideration of a drag direction and a drag distance of the touch.

9. The method of claim 8, wherein changing the display range comprises:

when a touch is dragged in one direction of directions toward the plurality of regions, expanding a display range of at least one region corresponding to a direction opposite to the drag direction,

reducing a size of at least one remaining region except the at least one expanded region among the plurality of regions prior to display.

10. The method of claim 9, wherein contents of the at least one remaining region except the at least one expanded region among the plurality of regions is reduced prior to display.

11. The method of claim 9, wherein a display range of the at least one remaining region except the at least one expanded region among the plurality of regions is reduced.

12. The method of claim 8, wherein determining a plurality of regions comprises:

checking whether a screen control event is generated by the detected touch; and

determining the plurality of regions in consideration of the touch point when the screen control event is generated.

13. The method of claim 8, wherein determining the plurality of regions comprises:

determining the plurality of regions based on the touch.

14. An electronic device comprising:

at least one processor;

a memory; and

at least one program stored in the memory and configured to be executable by the processor,

wherein the program comprises at least one instruction for;

detecting a plurality of touches;

determining a plurality of regions in consideration of a plurality of touch points of the plurality of touches; and

changing a display range of at least one region of the plurality of regions in consideration of change in a distance between the plurality of touch points.

15. The electronic device of claim 14, wherein the instruction for changing a display range is configured to:

expand the display range of the at least one region in consideration of the distance between the plurality of touch points when the distance between the plurality of touch points is short; and

reduce a size of at least one remaining region except the at least one expanded region among the plurality of regions prior to display.

16. The electronic device of claim 15, wherein contents of the at least one remaining region except the at least one expanded region among the plurality of regions is reduced prior to display.

17. The electronic device of claim 15, wherein a display range of the at least one remaining region except the at least one expanded region among the plurality of regions is reduced.

18. The electronic device of claim 14, wherein the instruction for determining the plurality of regions is configured to:

check whether a screen control event is generated by the detected plurality of touch points; and

determine the plurality of regions in consideration of the plurality of touch points when the screen control event is generated.

19. The electronic device of claim 14, wherein the instruction for determining the plurality of regions is configured to:

determine a plurality of regions in consideration of a plurality of touch points.

20. The electronic device of claim 19, wherein the instruction for determining the plurality of regions is configured to:

determine a plurality of regions in consideration of an angle defined by the detected plurality of touch points.

21. An electronic device comprising:

at least one processor;

a memory; and

at least one program stored in the memory and configured to be executable by the processor,

wherein the program comprises at least one instruction for;

detecting a touch;

determining plurality of regions in consideration of a touch point of the touch; and

changing a display range of at least one region of the plurality of regions in consideration of change in a drag direction and drag distance of the touch.

22. The electronic device of claim 21, wherein the instruction for changing the display range is configured to:

when the touch is dragged in one direction of a plurality of directions toward the plurality of regions, expanding a display range of at least one region corresponding to a direction opposite to the drag direction,

reduce a size of at least one remaining region except the at least one expanded region among the plurality of regions prior to display.

23. The electronic device of claim 22, wherein contents of the at least one remaining region except the at least one expanded region among the plurality of regions is reduced prior to display.

24. The electronic device of claim 22, wherein the display range of the at least one remaining region except the at least one expanded region among the plurality of regions is reduced.

25. The electronic device of claim 21, wherein the instruction for determining the plurality of regions is configured to:

check whether a screen control event is generated by the detected touch; and

determine the plurality of regions in consideration of the touch point when the screen control event is generated.

26. The electronic device of claim 21, wherein the instruction for determining the plurality of regions is configured to:

determine a plurality of regions in consideration of a plurality of touch points.
