linking each of the events to at least one chronological neighbor event, said linking done with respect to a non-chronological parameter of said at least one chronological neighbor event;
responsive to a user selection, changing the chronological order of the list of events; and
relinking events having at least one changed neighbor event upon changing the chronological order.

Abstract
Operational planning may be beneficial in a wide variety of areas. For example, naval commanders, hospital administrators, educators, and cargo transporters may benefit from enhanced operational planning. A method can include presenting a list of events in a chronological order. The method can also include linking each of the events to at least one chronological neighbor event, said linking done with respect to a non-chronological parameter of said at least one chronological neighbor event. The method can further include, responsive to a user selection, changing the chronological order of the list of events. The method can additionally include relinking events having at least one changed neighbor event upon changing the chronological order.
