WIRELESS POWER TRANSMITTER FOR EXCLUDING CROSS-CONNECTED WIRELESS POWER RECEIVER AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME
First Claim
1. A method for excluding a cross-connected wireless power receiver in a wireless power transmitter, comprising:
- determining transmission power while the wireless power transmitter communicates with to the wireless power receiver;
transferring the determined transmission power to the wireless power receiver;
receiving a report indicating a power-receiving state from the wireless power receiver;
determining whether the power-receiving state indicated by the report is within a valid range corresponding to the transmission power; and
terminating the communication to the wireless power receiver if the power-receiving state is outside of the valid range.

7. A wireless power transmitter for excluding a cross-connected wireless power receiver, comprising:
-
a controller for determining transmission power while the wireless power transmitter communicates with the wireless power receiver; a resonant signal generator for supplying the determined transmission power to the wireless power receiver under a control of the controller; and a wireless communication unit for receiving a report indicating a power-receiving state from the wireless power receiver as the wireless power transmitter transfers the transmission power; wherein the controller is configured to determine whether the power-receiving state indicated by the report is within a valid range corresponding to the transmission power, and to terminate the communication to the wireless power receiver if the power-receiving state is outside of the valid range. - View Dependent Claims (8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13)
