1. A kit for retrofitting a computer with an external defibrillator, the kit comprising:
- a slave device, the slave device including a defibrillator element, the defibrillator element having at least two cables and at least two electrode pads, the at least two cables and at least two electrode pads being housed in a compartment in the slave device; and
an electronic connector component, the electronic connector component connecting the defibrillator element to the computer, so that the computer controls the defibrillator element during use of the defibrillator element.
