Abstract

The systems, methods, and computer program products (collectively “systems”) described herein are generally configured to monitor actions in digital channels. More specifically, the systems are capable of creating spend verified reviews based on a transaction and/or an action in a channel. The systems are capable of syncing transaction accounts with various digital channels. Moreover, the systems are capable of initiating or completing transaction based on user information. The systems may also be capable of providing rewards based on activities or accomplishments in the digital channels. Moreover, the systems may be capable of verifying activities based on transaction information.

Claims

1. A method, comprising:

receiving, by a computer based system for verifying an action in a channel, channel profile information;

receiving, by the computer based system, action information;

determining, by the computer based system, transaction account information based on the channel profile information;

comparing, by the computer based system, the action information to a criteria; and

transmitting, by the computer based system, verification instructions in response to the action information at least partially satisfying the criteria.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the action is a review of at least one of a merchant and an item.

3. The method of claim 1, wherein the verification instructions include associating a transaction with a review.

4. The method of claim 1, wherein the criteria include a time period.

5. The method of claim 4, wherein the time period is less than one year.

6. The method of claim 1, wherein the criteria is a transaction amount.

7. The method of claim 1, further comprising, transmitting, by the computer based system, at least one of request instructions and a request for the action in response to receiving the action in the channel.

8. The method of claim 1, further comprising, transmitting, by the computer based system, at least one of request instructions and a request for the action in response to receiving an authorization for a transaction.

9. The method of claim 8, wherein the transaction is associated with at least one of an item and a merchant.

10. The method of claim 8, wherein the transmitting is provided to a user in real-time based on at least one of the action in the channel and the transaction.

11. The method of claim 1, further comprising syncing, by the computer based system, a transaction account with a channel profile.

12. The method of claim 11, wherein the syncing is based on an input from a user in the channel.

13. The method of claim 12, wherein the input is at least one of the transaction account information and the channel profile information.

14. The method of claim 1, wherein the transaction account information includes historical transactions.

15. The method of claim 14, wherein the transaction account information is filtered to identify transactions for at least one or merchants or items associated with the channel.

16. The method of claim 1, wherein the channel is provided to a user through a portable electronic device.

17. The method of claim 16, wherein the computer based system is configured to provide a notification to the user through the portable electronic device in response to a transaction with a merchant associated with the channel.

18. The method of claim 1, wherein the verification instructions include at least one of information identifying a source of a verification and information identifying a level of the verification.

19. The method of claim 1, wherein the action is a transaction with a transaction account.

20. The method of claim 1, wherein the action is a user input in a digital channel.

21. A non-transitory computer program product having computer-executable instructions stored thereon that, if executed by a computer based system capable of verifying an action in the channel, causes the computer based system to be capable of performing operations comprising:

receiving, by the computer based system, channel profile information and action information;

determining, by the computer based system, transaction account information based on the channel profile information;

comparing, by the computer based system, the action information to a criteria; and

transmitting, by the computer based system, verification instructions in response to the channel profile information being associated with the transaction account information and the action information at least partially satisfying the criteria.

22. A computer based system for verifying an action in a channel, comprising:

a processor;

a non-transitory memory configured to communicate with the processor, the non-transitory memory having instructions stored thereon;

a monitoring module configured to receive channel profile information and action information;

a transaction module configured to determine transaction account information based on the channel profile information;

the transaction module further configured to compare the action information to a criteria; and

a transaction account system configured to transmit verification instructions in response to the channel profile information being associated with the transaction account information and the action information at least partially satisfying the criteria.

23. A method comprising:

receiving, by a computer based system for verifying an action in a channel, transaction information;

identifying, by the computer based system, that a transaction account is associated with the transaction information;

determining, by the computer based system, that the transaction account is synced with a digital channel; and

creating, by the computer based system, instructions to request a review, wherein the instructions to request the review are transmitted to at least one of a user associated with the transaction account and a digital channel.

24. The method of claim 23, further comprising transmitting, by the computer based system, verification instructions in response to the action information at least partially satisfying criteria.

25. The method of claim 24, wherein the criteria is that the user is an account affiliate.
