Abstract

Systems and methods of real-time audiovisual interaction with a target location includes receiving an identification of a target location. The identification can be received at a processor of a server from an electronic device of an end-user. A request can be transmitted for a video feed associated with the target location. For example, the video feed can be a live video feed of an interior of the target location or a video chat with a representative of the target location. In response to receiving the video feed, the video feed can be transmitted to the electronic device of the end-user. When audiovisual communication is established, a user can view different aspects of a target location, for example the capacity of a restaurant or speak directly with a representative of a clothing store to see if they have a specific item in the users'"'"' size.

Claims

1. A computer-implemented method for providing an interaction between an electronic device and a target location comprising:

receiving, at a server from the electronic device, an identification of a target location;

transmitting a request, from the server to the target location, for a video feed associated with the target location;

receiving, at the server, the video feed; and

transmitting, from the server to the electronic device, the video feed.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the video feed is a live video chat.

3. The method of claim 1, wherein the video feed is a live video of an interior of the target location.

4. The method of claim 3, wherein the live video feed is produced by a controllable camera controllable by the electronic device.

5. The method of claim 3, wherein the live video feed is produced by a controllable camera controllable by the target location.

6. The method of claim 1, wherein the video feed comprises live statistics of the target location.

7. The method of claim 1, wherein the video feed further comprises a pre-recorded video.

8. A system for providing real-time interaction between an electronic device and a target location comprising:

a communication module configured for communicatively coupling the electronic device to a target location;

a processor; and

a non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing instructions for controlling the processor to perform steps comprising;

receiving, at the processor, information associated with a current location of the electronic device and a request for one or more target locations within a predetermined distance from the current location of the electronic device;

transmitting a search request, from the processor, for searching a database for target locations within a predetermined distance from the current location of the electronic device;

receiving, at the processor, at least one target location within a predetermined distance from the current location of the electronic device;

transmitting, from a processor, information associated with the one or more of target locations;

receiving, at the processor, a selection of at least one of the one or more target locations;

transmitting, from a processor, a request for real-time data associated with a selected target location;

receiving, at a processor, the real-time data associated with the selected target location; and

transmitting, from a processor, the real-time data associated with the selected target location.

9. The system of claim 8, wherein the predetermined distance is set by default.

10. The system of claim 8, wherein the predetermined distance is user-defined.

11. The system of claim 8, wherein the real-time data received is a live video chat.

12. The system of claim 8, wherein the real-time data received is a live video stream.

13. The system of claim 8, wherein the real-time data is live statistics of the target location.

14. The system of claim 8, wherein the real-time data is a pre-recorded video.

15. The system of claim 8, wherein the real-time data received is open table reservation data.

16. A computer-readable medium having computer-executable code stored thereon for causing a computer to perform a method comprising:

receiving, at a server from the electronic device, an identification of a target location;

transmitting a request, from the server to the target location, for a video feed associated with the target location;

receiving, at the server, the video feed; and

transmitting, from the server to the electronic device, the video feed.

17. The computer-readable medium of claim 16, wherein the video feed is a live video chat.

18. The computer-readable medium of claim 16, wherein the video feed is a live video of the interior of a target location.

19. The computer-readable medium of claim 18, where the video feed is from a controllable camera controllable by the electronic device.

20. The computer-readable medium of claim 18, where the video feed is from a controllable camera controllable by the target location.

21. The computer-readable medium of claim 16, wherein the video feed comprises live statistics of the target location;

22. The computer-readable medium of claim 16, wherein the video feed is a pre-recorded video

23. The computer-readable medium of claim 18, where the video feed is a static video of a room.

24. The computer-readable medium of claim 23, where the room comprises at least one selectable icon for making a reservation.
