Abstract

A mobile terminal is provided. The mobile terminal a case having an inner space where electronic components are mounted, a display arranged in the inner space of the case, the display being exposed at a front surface of the case, an audio output module arranged in the inner space of the case to output sound, a circuit board arranged in the inner space of the case, the circuit board having a circuit pattern to transmit an electric signal, a bracket coupled to a back surface of the display, the bracket including a metallic plate and an injection mold configured to partially cover the metallic plate and an electric current carrying structure configured to electrically connect the metal plate to at least one of the display, the audio output module and the circuit board.

Claims

1. A mobile terminal comprising:

a case having an inner space where electronic components are mounted;

a display arranged in the inner space of the case, the display being exposed at a front surface of the case;

an audio output module arranged in the inner space of the case to output sound;

a circuit board arranged in the inner space of the case, the circuit board having a circuit pattern to transmit an electric signal;

a bracket coupled to a back surface of the display, the bracket including a metallic plate and an injection mold configured to partially cover the metallic plate; and

an electric current carrying structure configured to electrically connect the metal plate to at least one of the display, the audio output module and the circuit board.

2. The mobile terminal according to claim 1, wherein the electric current carrying structure includes:

an electric current carrying pattern formed adjacent to the display at the case, the electric current carrying pattern being formed of a conductive material; and

a conductive gasket disposed between the electric current carrying pattern and the metallic plate.

3. The mobile terminal according to claim 2, wherein the bracket further includes a guide hole exposing a portion of the metallic plate therethrough, and

wherein the conductive gasket is electrically connected with the portion of the metallic plate exposed via the guide hole.

4. The mobile terminal according to claim 2, wherein the bracket includes:

a first bracket coupled to the back surface of the display; and

a second bracket extending from the first bracket, and

wherein the conductive gasket is positioned in the second bracket and the electric current carrying pattern is extended from a circumference of the display toward the second bracket.

5. The mobile terminal according to claim 4, wherein the bracket includes a third bracket extended from the first bracket, the third bracket being coupled to the audio output module.

6. The mobile terminal according to claim 2, wherein the conductive material is sputter deposited on the case to form the electric current carrying pattern.

7. The mobile terminal according to claim 1, wherein the electric current carrying structure includes a metal mesh arranged at a front surface of the audio output module, and

wherein the metal mesh is arranged in contact with the metallic plate or adjacent to the metallic plate.

8. The mobile terminal according to claim 7, wherein the metal mesh has elasticity, and

wherein, when the case and the audio output module are coupled to each other, the metal mesh is deformed to adhere closely to the case.

9. The mobile terminal according to claim 7, wherein the electric current carrying structure further includes:

an electric current carrying pattern electrically connected to the metal mesh at an inner surface of the case; and

a conductive gasket configured to electrically connect the electric current carrying pattern to the metallic plate.

10. The mobile terminal according to claim 1, wherein the bracket further includes a screw hole configured to expose the metallic plate via a side wall, and

wherein the electric current carrying structure includes a screw fastened to the screw hole via the circuit board.

11. The mobile terminal according to claim 1, further comprising an interface unit,

wherein the bracket includes:

a first bracket coupled to the back surface of the display; and

a recess extended downward from the first bracket to extend away from the back surface of the display, the recess being configured to seat the interface unit therein.

12. The mobile terminal according to claim 11, wherein the metallic plate is embedded and arranged in the injection mold, and a portion of the metallic plate is located at at least one surface of the recess.

13. The mobile terminal according to claim 11, wherein at least one portion of the metallic plate is exposed at at least one surface of the recess to be in contact with the interface unit.

14. The mobile terminal according to claim 13, wherein a double-sided tape is attached to the at least one portion of the metallic plate.

15. The mobile terminal according to claim 11, further comprising a terminal inserting hole formed in a lower end of the case, the terminal inserting hole being a predetermined size corresponding to a size of an external input/output terminal,

wherein the interface unit is arranged in the terminal inserting hole to expose a pin via the terminal inserting hole.

16. The mobile terminal according to claim 11, wherein the bracket includes a second bracket extending from the first bracket, the second bracket having the recess,

wherein the circuit board is coupled to a front surface of the second bracket to cover the recess, and

wherein a back surface of the circuit board is electrically connected with the interface unit to transmit and receive an electric signal.

17. The mobile terminal according to claim 16, further comprising:

a metal dome coupled to a front surface of the circuit board, the metal dome having a transformable shape to generate an electric signal when pressed; and

a button unit positioned at the front surface of the case to be exposed outside the case, the button unit configured to transform the metal dome by pressing the metal dome.

18. The mobile terminal according to claim 16, wherein the circuit board is a flexible circuit board.

19. The mobile terminal according to claim 16, wherein the interface unit further includes a coupling projection coupled to the circuit board by passing through the circuit board.
