Abstract

Among other disclosures, a method may include collecting historical communication data and personal data relating to a portion of a plurality of communications, a sender of one or more of the communications or one or more recipients of the communications. The method may include depositing the collected data into a repository of historical communication data and personal data. The method may include presenting one or more items in the repository on a mobile device, in response to user behavior.

Claims

1. A computer-implemented method for presenting information related to historical communication and personal data, the method comprising:

collecting historical communication data and personal data relating to a portion of a plurality of communications, a sender of one or more of the communications or one or more recipients of the communications;

generating a profile containing information about a person using the historical communication data and personal data;

monitoring use of a mobile communication device;

determining if the user of the mobile communication device has made a request to view the profile; and

presenting the profile on the mobile communication device in response to the request.

2. The computer-implemented method of claim 1, wherein the use is selected from the group comprising placing a call, receiving a call, reviewing a log of calls, retrieving a message, sending a message, receiving a message, and selecting a contact.

3. The computer-implemented method of claim 1, wherein presenting includes presenting the profile on a portion of a display associated with the mobile communication device.

4. The computer-implemented method of claim 1, wherein presenting includes presenting a link to the profile.

5. The computer implemented method of claim 1, further comprising storing the profile on the mobile communication device.

6. The computer implemented method of claim 1, further comprising retrieving the profile from a network resource accessible over a mobile communication link.

7. The computer implemented method of claim 6, wherein presenting includes adapting the profile for display on the mobile communications device.

8. The computer implemented method of claim 7, wherein adapting includes identifying a subset of information from the profile to present on the mobile communication device.

9. The computer implemented method of claim 7, wherein adapting includes changing a format of information associated with the profile.

10. The computer implemented method of claim 7, wherein adapting includes ordering information in the profile and presenting the information in accordance with the ordering.

11. The computer-implemented method of claim 1, wherein the profile includes information selected from the group comprising text, graphics, pictures, audio recordings and video recordings.

12. The computer-implemented method of claim 1, wherein the request is implicit.

The computer-implemented method of claim 1, wherein the use is selected from the group comprising opening a communication, viewing a communication, reading a communication, writing a communication, initiating a communication, receiving a communication, performing a search, selecting a person'"'"'s name, selecting a communication summary, and selecting an attribute associated with the one or more items.

14. The computer-implemented method of claim 1, wherein the information contained in the profile is selected from the group comprising contact information, communication summaries, conversation threads, attachments to communications, communication statistics, related contacts, and user input.

15. A computer-implemented method comprising:

collecting historical communication data and personal data relating to one or more communications, a sender of one or more of the communications or one or more recipients of the communications;

generating a profile containing information using the historical communication data and personal data;

enabling a determination if a user has made a request to view the profile in response to using a mobile communication device; and

enabling presentation of the profile on the mobile communication device in response to the request.

16. The computer-implemented method of claim 15, wherein the request is implicit.

17. The computer-implemented method of claim 16, wherein the implicit request is made by opening a communication, viewing a communication, replying to a communication, selecting a communication, selecting a summary of a communication, writing a communication, initiating a communication, or receiving a communication.
