- a housing;
a first contact blade, a protruding portion of the first contact blade protruding from the housing along a first direction, the protruding portion of the first contact blade including;
two lateral edges extending in the first direction; and
a linear bend arranged on one of the lateral edges, the bend extending in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction;
a second contact blade, a protruding portion of the second contact blade protruding from the housing; and
a fusion section enclosed in the housing and connecting the first contact blade and the second contact blade.

Abstract
A safety fuse (10), in particular for use in a motor vehicle, comprising:
- a) a first contact blade (11), a second contact blade (12), and a fusion section connecting the first contact blade (11) with the second contact blade (12), and
- b) a housing (13) enclosing the fusion section, from which at least a portion of the first contact blade (11), and at least a portion of the second contact blade 12, protrude freely.

- c) a fuse element (15a, 15b) is arranged on an area of the first contact blade (11), and wherein the particularly rail-like securing element (15a, 15b) extends perpendicularly to the direction, in which the portion of the first contact blade (11) protrudes from housing (13).
