METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SUPPORTING WIRELESS COMMUNICATION IN A VEHICLE

1. A system for controlling an operation of a vehicle, the system comprising:
- a first wireless client station configured to be implemented in the vehicle, wherein the first wireless client station is configured to transmit a first packet, wherein the first packet includes a first command to control the operation of the vehicle;
a controller configured to be implemented in the vehicle; and
a wireless access point configured to be implemented in the vehicle, wherein the wireless access point is configured toreceive the first packet transmitted from the first wireless client station, andsubsequent to receiving the first packet transmitted from the first wireless client station, transmit the first packet to the controller,wherein in response to the controller receiving the first packet transmitted from the wireless access point, the controller is configured to control the operation of the vehicle in accordance with the first command included within the first packet.
