Abstract

A method and apparatus for enabling a cloud server to provide screen information data indicating a screen to be displayed on a client device are provided. The method of enabling a cloud server to provide screen information data relating to a screen to be displayed on a client device includes: generating the screen information data; determining whether or not to protect the generated screen information data based on characteristics of an object configuring the screen; encrypting the provided screen information data based on the determining; and transmitting the encrypted the screen information data to the client device.

Claims

1. A method of enabling a cloud server to provide screen information data for displaying data on a screen of a client device, the method comprising:

generating the screen information data;

determining whether or not to protect the provided screen information data, based on characteristics of an object configuring the screen;

encrypting the provided screen information data based on the determination; and

transmitting the encrypted screen information data to the client device.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the encrypting of the provided screen information data comprises encrypting some of the provided screen information data.

3. The method of claim 1, wherein the determining of whether or not to protect the provided screen information data is based on an application that runs in the cloud server, in order to display the object configuring the screen.

4. The method of claim 1, wherein the determining of whether or not to protect the screen information data is based on a type of object configuring the screen.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein the object configuring the screen comprises at least one of an image, a text and a video.

6. The method of claim 1, wherein the encrypting of the provided screen information data comprises encrypting the provided screen information data using entropy encoding and a symbol mapping algorithm.

7. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

determining whether or not the client device is valid; and

in response to the client device being valid, transmitting decoding information to the client device.

The method of claim 1, wherein the determining of whether or not to protect the provided screen information data comprises receiving criteria information related to characteristics of the object configuring the screen, in order to determine whether or not to protect the provided screen information data requested from the client device.

9. The method of claim 1, wherein the determining of whether or not to protect the provided screen information data considers the characteristics of the object and predetermined time information.

10. The method of claim 1, wherein the determining of whether or not to protect the provided screen information data determines whether the provided screen information data corresponds to coordinate information, based on characteristics of the object, and predetermined coordinate information.

21. A non-transitory computer readable storage medium comprising a program, which when executed by a processor of a computer, causes the computer to perform the method of enabling a cloud server to provide screen information data, of claim 1.

11. A cloud server that provides screen information data related to a screen that displays data on a client device, the cloud server comprising:

a screen information data generator configured to generate the screen information data;

a protection determiner configured to determine whether or not to protect the generated screen information data based on characteristics of an object configuring the screen;

an encryptor configured to encrypt the generated screen information data based on the determining; and

a transmitter configured to transmit the encrypted screen information data.

12. The cloud server according to claim 11, wherein the encryptor is configured to encrypt some of the generated screen information data.

13. The cloud server according to claim 11, wherein the protection determiner is configured to determine whether or not to protect the generated screen information data based on an application that runs in the cloud server, in order to display the object configuring the screen.

14. The cloud server according to claim 11, wherein the protection determiner is configured to determine whether or not to protect the generated screen information data based on a type of object configuring the screen.

15. The cloud server according to claim 11, wherein the object configuring the screen comprises at least one of an image, a text and a video.

16. The cloud server according to claim 11, wherein the encryptor is configured to perform encryption using entropy encoding and a symbol mapping algorithm.

17. The cloud server according to claim 11, further comprising a valid terminal decider configured to determine whether or not the client device is a valid device, and is configured to transmit decoding information to the client device in response to the client device being valid, based on the results of the determining of whether or not the client device is a valid device.

18. The cloud server according to claim 11, further comprising a receiver configured to receive criteria information related to the characteristics of the object in order to determine whether or not to protect the generated screen information data from the client device.

19. The cloud server according to claim 11, wherein the protection determiner is configured to determine whether or not to protect the generated screen information data in consideration of the characteristics of the object, and predetermined time information.

The cloud server according to claim 11, wherein the protection determiner is configured to determine whether or not to protect the generated screen information data, based on whether the generated screen information data corresponds to coordinate information, based on the characteristics of the object, and predetermined coordinate information.
