Abstract

Advertisement is a multi-billion dollar business in US (per year). Here, we use license plate frames for the advertisement. One example of the application describes a license-plate-frame-based advertisement verification system. In order to validate and verify the correct placement/mounting of a license plate frame advertisement at a given location over time, it is necessary to validate that both (a) the ad is correctly placed on the vehicle, and (b) to verify that the ad is at a given location at that time. The method required to verify these includes some control systems and components. Different variations and examples are also presented here.

Claims

1. A system for license plate frame advertising verification and validation, said system comprising:

a frame mount;

wherein said frame mount is attached to or holds a license plate;

wherein said frame mount comprises or is attached to an advertisement module;

a location log registry;

a second one or more registries for proximity log, mount log, or ad log;

a location device;

wherein said location device is inside or attached to a vehicle, said frame mount, or said advertisement module;

wherein said frame mount, said license plate, and said advertisement module are attached to said vehicle;

wherein data from said location log registry and said second one or more registries for proximity log, mount log, or ad log is used, combined with data from said location device, to determine whether license plate frame advertising is valid.

2. The system for license plate frame advertising verification and validation as recited in claim 1, wherein said system comprises screw, hinge, magnet, frame, or an attachment device.

3. The system for license plate frame advertising verification and validation as recited in claim 1, wherein said advertisement module displays text, message, picture, trademark, or symbol.

4. The system for license plate frame advertising verification and validation as recited in claim 1, wherein said frame mount, said license plate, and said advertisement module are attached to front of said vehicle.

5. The system for license plate frame advertising verification and validation as recited in claim 1, wherein said frame mount, said license plate, and said advertisement module are attached to back of said vehicle.

6. The system for license plate frame advertising verification and validation as recited in claim 1, wherein said system comprises a user interface.

7. The system for license plate frame advertising verification and validation as recited in claim 1, wherein said system comprises a camera module.

8. The system for license plate frame advertising verification and validation as recited in claim 1, wherein said system comprises an accounting module.

9. The system for license plate frame advertising verification and validation as recited in claim 1, wherein said system comprises mount identity database.

10. The system for license plate frame advertising verification and validation as recited in claim 1, wherein said system comprises publisher identity database.

11. The system for license plate frame advertising verification and validation as recited in claim 1, wherein said system comprises ad identity database.

12. The system for license plate frame advertising verification and validation as recited in claim 1, wherein said second one or more registries for proximity log, mount log, or ad log comprises a proximity log module.

13. The system for license plate frame advertising verification and validation as recited in claim 1, wherein said second one or more registries for proximity log, mount log, or ad log comprises a mount log module.

14. The system for license plate frame advertising verification and validation as recited in claim 1, wherein said second one or more registries for proximity log, mount log, or ad log comprises an ad log module.

15. The system for license plate frame advertising verification and validation as recited in claim 1, wherein said system comprises a parameters module.

16. The system for license plate frame advertising verification and validation as recited in claim 1, wherein said system comprises a contract database module.

17. The system for license plate frame advertising verification and validation as recited in claim 1, wherein said system comprises a controller, processor, computer, server, microprocessor, computing unit, or central unit.

18. The system for license plate frame advertising verification and validation as recited in claim 1, wherein said system comprises an antenna.

19. The system for license plate frame advertising verification and validation as recited in claim 1, wherein said system comprises a warning module to record and show cheating, tampering, or misuse of said system.

20. The system for license plate frame advertising verification and validation as recited in claim 1, wherein said system comprises a biometric, security, public-private key, or authentication module, attached to a controller, user-interface, input module, or access ports to databases.
