Abstract

Disclosed are a system for performing payment, and a recording medium storing a program source for the method. The method employed by a first terminal enables a second terminal to perform payment for a product purchase using one or more pieces of financial account information accessible by the first terminal by: transmitting the one or more pieces of financial account information to the second terminal using an NFC connection; generating a registration request message comprising a request for registration of the second terminal associated with the transmitted financial account information enabling the second terminal to perform the payment by using the transmitted financial account information; and transmitting the registration request message to a financial organization server, the financial organization server being associated with the transmitted financial account information.

Claims

1. A method of enabling a first terminal to permit a second terminal to perform payment by using one or more pieces of financial account information accessible by the first terminal, the method comprising:

transmitting the one or more pieces of financial account information accessible by the first terminal to the second terminal by using a Near Field Communication (NFC) connection;

generating a registration request message comprising a request for registration of the second terminal associated with the transmitted financial account information enabling the second terminal to perform the payment by using the transmitted financial account information; and

transmitting the registration request message to a financial organization server, the financial organization server being associated with the transmitted financial account information.

2. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

receiving input information identifying payment restriction information concerning at least one of, an amount of money, a term, a location, and an item for which a financial payment in the second terminal is permitted, before transmitting the one or more pieces of financial account information,

wherein transmitting the financial account information includes combining the financial account information with the payment restriction information and transmitting the combined information.

3. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

receiving a response message in response to the registration request message from the financial organization server in response to transmitting the one or more pieces of registration request message.

4. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

receiving from the second terminal, a purchase approval request message including product information concerning one or more products, in response to transmitting the registration request message; and

generating a purchase approval message approving a purchase of one or more products and transmitting the generated purchase approval message to the second terminal.

5. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

receiving a payment notification message including payment detail information of the second terminal using the transmitted financial account information from the financial organization server in response to transmitting the registration request message.

6. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

receiving product information concerning a product for which a payment approval is completed by the financial organization server from the second terminal and storing the received product information in response to transmitting the registration request message; and

in response to a request of the user being made, displaying financial payment details of the second terminal based on the stored product information according to a predetermined method.

7. The method of claim 1, wherein the registration request message comprises at least one of an identification number of the first terminal, an identification number of the second terminal, and the transmitted financial account information.

The method of claim 1, wherein the financial account information comprises data identifying credit card information including at least one of, a credit card issuing company, a credit card applicant, a credit card number, a valid term, a password, a connected bank account, or bank account information including at least one of an account opening bank, a bank account applicant, a bank account number, and a password.

9. A method of performing, by a first terminal, payment by using one or more pieces of financial account information accessible by a second terminal, the method comprising:

receiving, from the second terminal, one or more pieces of financial account information accessible by the second terminal by using an NFC connection; and

receiving a response message notifying that the first terminal is registered in association with the received financial account information enabling payment using the received financial account information from a financial organization server associated with the received financial account information.

10. The method of claim 9, further comprising:

generating a payment request message including product information concerning one or more products and the received financial account information and transmitting the generated payment request message to the NFC payment terminal after receiving the response message.

11. The method of claim 9, further comprising:

generating a purchase approval request message including product information concerning one or more products and transmitting the generated purchase approval request message to the second terminal in response to receiving the response message;

receiving a purchase approval message, from the second terminal, approving a purchase of one or more selected products of a plurality of products; and

generating a payment request message including product information on the purchase approved product and the received financial account information and transmitting the generated payment request message to an NFC payment terminal.

12. The method of claim 10, further comprising:

storing the product information included in the payment request message after transmitting the payment request message; and

in response to a payment notification message notifying of a payment approval from the financial organization server occurring in response to the payment request message, transmitting the stored product information to the second terminal

The method of claim 9, wherein the financial account information comprises credit card information including at least one of a credit card issuing company, a credit card applicant, a credit card number, a valid term, a password, a connected bank account, or bank account information including at least one of an account opening bank, a bank account applicant, a bank account number, and a password.

14. The method of claim 9, wherein the financial account information further includes payment restriction information concerning at least one of, an amount of money, a term, a location, and an item for which the financial payment in the first terminal is permitted.

15. An apparatus employing a first terminal to enable a second terminal to perform payment by using one or more pieces of financial account information accessible by the first terminal, the apparatus comprising:

a communication unit including a Near Field Communication (NFC) communication module and a wireless communication module;

a secure storage unit which stores one or more pieces of financial account information;

a touch screen which displays a guide image enabling receiving a selection of user entered financial account information to be transmitted to the second terminal; and

a controller configure for, transmitting one or more pieces of financial account information selected by the user to the second terminal through the NFC communication module, generating a registration request message comprising a request for registration of the second terminal in association with the transmitted financial account information enabling the second terminal to initiate payment by using the transmitted financial account information, and transmitting the generated registration request message to a financial organization server associated with the transmitted financial account information, through the wireless communication module.

The apparatus of claim 15, wherein the controller displays a guide image enabling receiving user entered input information comprising payment restriction information concerning at least one of, an amount of money, a term, a location, and an item for which a financial payment in the second terminal is permitted from a user and combining the payment restriction information input by the user with the financial account information and transmitting the combined information.

17. The apparatus of claim 15, wherein in response to the controller transmitting the registration request message, the controller receives a response message in response to the registration request message from the financial organization server.

The apparatus of claim 15, wherein in response to a purchase approval request message including product information concerning one or more products being received from the second terminal and in response to the controller transmitting the registration request message, the controller displays product information concerning one or more products on the touch screen, generates a purchase approval message including one or more products selected by the user, and transmits the generated purchase approval message to the second terminal.

The apparatus of claim 15, wherein the controller receives a payment notification message including payment detail information of the second terminal using the transmitted financial account information from the financial organization server in response to transmitting the registration request message.

The apparatus of claim 15, wherein the controller receives product information concerning a product for which a payment approval is completed by the financial organization server from the second terminal after transmitting the registration request message and stores the received product information in a memory unit, and displays financial payment details of the second terminal based on the stored product information in response to a request being made by the user.

21. The apparatus of claim 15, wherein the registration request message comprises at least one of an identification number of the first terminal, an identification number of the second terminal, and the transmitted financial account information.

The apparatus of claim 15, wherein the financial account information comprises credit card information including data identifying at least one of a credit card issuing company, a credit card applicant, a credit card number, a valid term, a password, a connected bank account, bank account information including at least one of an account opening bank, a bank account applicant, a bank account number, and a password.

23. An apparatus for performing, by a first terminal, payment by using one or more pieces of financial account information accessible by a second terminal, the apparatus comprising:

a communication unit including a Near Field Communication (NFC) communication module and a wireless communication module;

a controller configured to receive, from the second terminal, one or more pieces of financial account information accessible by the second terminal through the NFC module, and to receive a response message notifying that the first terminal is registered in association with the received financial account information enabling payment using the received financial account information from a financial organization server associated with the received financial account information through the wireless communication module.

24. The apparatus of claim 23, wherein the controller generates a payment request message including product information concerning one or more products and the received financial account information, and transmits the generated payment request message to an NFC payment terminal.

The apparatus of claim 23, wherein the controller generates a purchase approval request message including product information concerning one or more products and transmits the generated purchase approval request message to the second terminal in response to receiving the response message, receives a purchase approval message approving a purchase of one or more selected products, and generates a payment request message including product information concerning the purchase approved product and the received financial account information and transmits the generated payment request message to an NFC payment terminal.

The apparatus of claim 24, wherein the controller stores the product information included in the payment request message, and in response to a payment notification message notifying payment approval being received from the financial organization server occurring in response to the payment request message, the controller transmits the stored product information to the second terminal.

The apparatus of claim 23, wherein the financial account information comprises credit card information including data identifying at least one of a credit card issuing company, a credit card applicant, a credit card number, a valid term, a password, a connected bank account, or bank account information including at least one of an account opening bank, a bank account applicant, a bank account number, and a password.

28. The apparatus of claim 23, wherein the financial account information further includes payment restriction information concerning at least one of, an amount of money, a term, a location, and an item for which the financial payment in the first terminal is permitted.
