Abstract

Systems, methods, distributed networks, and computer-readable media are provided that relate to recruiting and employment services. Background information associated with talent-capability attributes is received from talent. Job description information is received from employers. Prospective matches are identified between employers and talent, and employers and talent are given an opportunity to consent to exchange of talent contact information.

Claims

1. A method of searching a plurality of job profiles having respective job attributes and threshold requirements by a computer system having at least one computer comprising at least one processor and storage medium within a computer network, the method comprising:

storing job attributes received from an employer in a structured format on the at least one storage medium in communication with the at least one computer;

receiving by the at least one computer from a job seeker at least one search parameter including at least one threshold requirement selected from the job profiles;

identifying at least one job profile by the computer system based on the at least one search parameter;

comparing the at least one search parameter with the job attributes by the computer system;

determining by the computer system whether at least one of the identified job profiles matching the at least one search parameter meets the selected threshold requirement, and;

communicating to the candidate the at least one determined job profile.

2. The method as set forth in claim 1, wherein the at least one search parameter is associated with at least one candidate profile.

3. The method as set forth in claim 1, wherein the at least one search parameter comprises at least one of:

(i) data structured according to an occupational classification system, and (ii) data structured according to an industry classification system.

4. The method as set forth in claim 1, wherein the at least one determined job profile is ranked according to the extent it is compatible with the at least one threshold requirement.

5. The method of claim 4, wherein the computer system generates a listing of the at least one determined job profile based upon the ranking.

6. The method as set forth in claim 1, further comprising receiving from the job seeker a request for an interview with an employer associated with the at least one determined candidate profile;

transmitting the request for the interview to the candidate over the computer network; and

receiving a request-acceptance indication from the employer over the computer network.

7. The method of claim 1, further comprising permitting the job seeker to modify the at least one search parameter.

8. The method of claim 1, wherein the search is automatically performed by the computer system based on the at least one search parameter.

9. The method as set forth in claim 1, wherein the at least one job profile comprises data structured according to at least one of:

(i) an occupational classification system, and (ii) an industry classification system.

10. The method of claim 1 wherein the search is automatically performed by the computer system based on the at least one threshold requirement.
