Abstract

Disclosed as a mobile terminal and controlling method thereof, by which a capture image used to play a role in delivering information only is utilized as a medium for activating a target application program. The present invention disclose a mobile terminal comprising a memory configured to save data, a display unit configured to display an active screen of an application program, and a controller configured to, if a capture command is inputted, extract an activation information related to the active screen which is set as a capture target, and control a capture image having the extracted activation information saved as metadata to be created.

Claims

1. A mobile terminal comprising:

a memory configured to save data;

a display unit configured to display an active screen of an application program; and

a controller configured to;

if a capture command is received, extract activation information related to the active screen which is set as a capture target; and

control a capture image having the extracted activation information saved as metadata to be created.

2. The mobile terminal of claim 1, wherein the activation information comprises at least activation context information of the active screen or page information corresponding to the active screen.

3. The mobile terminal of claim 2, wherein the activation context information comprises at least identification information of the application program or identification information of an activity matching the active screen.

4. The mobile terminal of claim 2, wherein the page information comprises a uniform resource locator (URL) corresponding to the active screen.

5. The mobile terminal of claim 1,

wherein the display unit comprises a touchscreen, and

wherein the controller is further configured to control the capture image to comprise a first handwritten input drawn in a first handwriting mode and a second handwritten input drawn in a second handwriting mode.

6. The mobile terminal of claim 5,

wherein the second handwritten input is utilized to set an extraction region on the active screen, and

wherein, if the extraction region is set by the second handwritten input, the controller is further configured to determine an operation object located in a specific region indicated by the extraction region on the active screen and control link information of the operation object located in the specific region to be further included in the metadata.

7. The mobile terminal of claim 6, wherein the link information comprises at least activation context information linked to the operation object, a uniform resource locator (URL) address linked to the operation object, an email address or a phone number.

8. The mobile terminal of claim 6, wherein, if the second handwritten input forms a closed curve, the controller sets an inside of the closed curve as the extraction region.

9. The mobile terminal of claim 1, wherein the controller is further configured to extract setting information of the application program and control the extracted setting information to be further included in the metadata.

10. The mobile terminal of claim 9, wherein, if the application program is an alarm application, the setting information comprises an alarm time.

11. The mobile terminal of claim 9, wherein, if the application program is a dial application, the setting information comprises a phone number received through a dialer screen.

12. The mobile terminal of claim 9, wherein if the active screen is a login page, the setting information comprises a user ID and a password received through the login page.

13. The mobile terminal of claim 1, wherein the controller is further configured to control a deleting condition of the capture image to be set.

14. The mobile terminal of claim 13, wherein the deleting condition comprises at least a valid time or a maximum inquiry-available count of the capture image.

15. The mobile terminal of claim 14, wherein, if either a current time meets the valid time or an inquiry count of the capture image reaches the maximum inquiry-available count, the controller is further configured to delete the capture image automatically.

16. A mobile terminal comprising:

a memory configured to save a capture image having activation information saved as metadata;

a display unit configured to display the capture image; and

a controller configured to, if a prescribed user input is applied while the capture image is displayed, extract the activation information from the metadata, and process the extracted activation information.

17. The mobile terminal of claim 16, wherein the activation information comprises at least activation context information of the active screen or page information corresponding to the active screen.

The mobile terminal of claim 17, wherein the extracted activation information is processed by outputting an active screen of an application program indicated by the activation context information or by requesting access to a uniform resource locator (URL) address indicated by the page information.

The mobile terminal of claim 18, wherein, if the metadata further comprises setting information, the controller is further configured to control the setting information to be applied to the active screen while outputting the active screen or control the setting information to be applied to a webpage received from the URL address.

20. The mobile terminal of claim 16, wherein, if location information of an operation object is included in the metadata, the controller is further configured to control an activation region corresponding to the location information to be visually identifiable when the capture image is displayed.

21. The mobile terminal of claim 20,

wherein, if the user input is applied to an outside of the activation region, the controller is further configured to control the activation information to be processed, and

wherein, if the user input is applied to an inside of the activation region, the controller is further configured to control link information linked to the operation object to be processed.

22. The mobile terminal of claim 21, wherein the link information comprises at least activation context information linked to the operation object, a uniform resource locator (URL) address linked to the operation object, an email address or a phone number.

23. A method of controlling a mobile terminal, the method comprising:

receiving an input of a capture command while an active screen of an application program is displayed;

extracting activation information related to the active screen which is set as a capture target; and

creating a capture image having the extracted activation information saved as metadata.

24. A method of controlling a mobile terminal, the method comprising:

displaying a capture image having activation information saved as metadata;

receiving a user input;

extracting the activation information from the capture image in response to the user input; and

processing the extracted activation information.
