Abstract

Systems and methods are provided for providing financial service extensions. In one implementation, a financial cloud system including a memory storing instructions and a processor configured to execute the instructions is provided. The instructions may be executed to perform a process associated with providing the financial service extensions. The process may include providing a platform application to a client device. The process may also include receiving data associated with a financial service extension to be used in connection with the platform application. The process may further include receiving configuration data associated with the financial service extension. The process may additionally include configuring, by the processor, the financial service extension for use with the platform application. The process may also include providing, by the processor, the financial service extension to the client device.

Claims

1. A financial cloud system for providing a financial service extension, comprising:

a memory storing instructions; and

a processor configured to execute the instructions to;

provide, by the processor, a platform application to a client device, wherein the platform application is associated with a financial institution;

receive data associated with a financial service extension to be used in connection with the platform application;

receive configuration data associated with the financial service extension;

configure, by the processor, the financial service extension for use with the platform application; and

provide, by the processor, the financial service extension to the client device.

2. The financial cloud system of claim 1, wherein the financial service extension is an application extension configured to provide one or more financial services.

3. The financial cloud system of claim 2, wherein the application extension is associated with a third party and is configured to provide a third party financial service.

4. The financial cloud system of claim 1, wherein the financial service extension is an advertisement extension associated with an advertisement and/or offer.

5. The financial cloud system of claim 1, wherein the platform application includes a plurality of extensible areas for including the financial service extension.

6. The financial cloud system of claim 5, wherein configuring the financial service extension includes identification of an extensible area in which to present the financial service extension.

7. The financial cloud system of claim 1, wherein the configuration data includes instructions for facilitating a financial service between the client device and a service provider.

8. The financial cloud system of claim 1, wherein the financial service extension is a first financial service extension, and further comprising executing the instructions to:

receive additional configuration data; and

provide a second financial service extension based on the addition configuration data.

9. The financial cloud system of claim 8, further comprising executing the instructions to:

deactivate the first financial service extension; and

provide the second financial service extension in place of the first financial service extension.

10. The financial cloud system of claim 9, wherein the additional configuration data includes data associated with consumer preference.

11. The financial cloud system of claim 1, further comprising executing the instructions to:

receive additional configuration data; and

update the financial service extension based on the received configuration data

12. The financial cloud system of claim 1, further comprising executing the instructions to:

receive a service request from the client device;

process the service request; and

provide a result of the service request to the client device.

13. The financial cloud system of claim 12, wherein processing the service request includes executing the instructions to:

receive first data received from the client device;

receive second data stored in the financial cloud system;

transmit the first and second data to a service provider; and

receive a response from the service provider.

14. A non-transitory computer-readable medium including instructions, which, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to perform a method for providing a financial service extension, the method comprising:

providing a platform application to a client device, wherein the platform application is associated with a financial institution;

receiving data associated with a financial service extension to be used in connection with the platform application;

receiving configuration data associated with the financial service extension;

configuring the financial service extension for use with the platform application; and

providing the financial service extension to the client device.

15. A mobile device, comprising:

a memory storing instructions; and

a processor configured to execute the instructions to;

receive data associated with a platform application, wherein the platform application is associated with a financial service provider;

store, in the memory, the data associated with the platform application;

receive data associated with a plurality of financial service extensions to be used in connection with the platform application; and

provide the plurality of financial service extensions for use with the platform application.

16. The mobile device of claim 15, further comprising executing the instructions to:

receive configuration data; and

modify one or more of the plurality of financials service extensions, based on the received configuration data.

17. The mobile device of claim 16, wherein modifying the one or more of the plurality of financial extensions includes substitution of one financial service extension for another financial service extension.

18. The mobile device of claim 15, further including executing the instructions to display the platform application and the plurality of financial service extensions.

19. The mobile device of claim 18, wherein:

the platform application, as displayed, includes a plurality of extensible regions, and

each extensible region, as displayed, is configured to provide at least one of the plurality of financial service extensions.

20. The mobile device of claim 19, wherein the plurality of extensible regions include icon regions and tile regions.

21. The mobile device of claim 20, wherein the icon regions are configured to display as a navigation menu and the tile regions are configured to display data associated with one of the plurality of financial service extensions.

22. The mobile device of claim 21, wherein the tile regions are configured to display advertisement extensions.

23. A non-transitory computer-readable medium including instructions, which, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to perform a method for providing a financial service extension, the method comprising

receiving data associated with a platform application, wherein the platform application is associated with a financial service provider;

storing, in the memory, the data associated with the platform application;

receiving data associated with a plurality of financial service extensions to be used in connection with the platform application; and

providing the plurality of financial service extensions for use with the platform application.
